Me personally I might GE the F-15E (new job, so lot less time than I had but also a lot more money lol) while at the same time grinding for the Sabra Mk.1, OSA (Italian tree), F-15I, PLZ05, T77E1 and Skink.
I honestly didn’t expect that there would be so many vehicles I would be excited about in this update.
Whilst having a lot of C&Ps, there are still a lot of new additions, especially topped up with raytracing. I would say something as big as raytracing should be left for march/june/september. Also I think only 20% of the playerbase can actually handle raytracing, half of them opting to still do ULQ. Not sure how that investment would turn out.
The game is so compressed that 15.0 could be the maximum BR, rather than 13.7 we have right now.
Gaijin adding massive upgrades of tech and performance in a small BR bracket is the primary reason for BR compression.
All jet development from Me-262s to F-15s takes place between 7.0(technically earlier, but 7.0 is when all nations get jets)-13.7, and this is way too little.
Popeye is a missile with max range of at least 75km (base version). SPICE 1000 is 125km, SPICE 2000 is 60km while SPICE 250 is 100km (range can very based on launch speed and altitude). SPICE 2000 is the most reasonable munition that could be added this update since it could be carried by F-16D and F-15I in capacity of 2 and 4 respectively.
They can carry 2 but only F-15I can carry the base version since fins are too big for F-16. Popeye also takes away underwing missiles and needs DL pod to be used. SPICE 2000 on the other hand doesnt block underwing missiles and doesnt require DL pod. F-15I can also carry up to 4 of them.
que times will be considerably longer and battles would be very boring, in the current maps the stealth of f22 and f35 cant actually make a difference (in theory), there was a guy testing the stealth of the f22 in DCS and he would get detected at around 20 kms (by a S400) if i remember correctly, so the only thing that f22 and f35 would actually improve on are the missiles being that f22 (and i think f35 too) are the only capable aircraft of carrying AIM120D, which god knows how gaijin will implement since is still highly classified, so i would expect the ultimate top tier in the best scenario to be something like F22 vs F35 vs Rafale vs SU57 (maybe even the gimmick SU75 LOOL) and maybe even the last model of Eurofighter and maybe even F15EX, that is the best scenario for you, because gaijin would most likely include F15C and F15E in the matches too
A 14.7 F-35 would mean that the current top tier planes would be able to face an F-35. That is not good. Even at 15.0 they would be several BRs too low because that’s only 1.3 BRs away from the current top tier aircraft, which should be 14.0 at this point.
if f35 would drop tmrw it wouldnt even break the game because gaijin wasnt even capable of correctly simulating Fox 3 and much less actual stealth, so i wouldnt expect an actual big deal unless they buff ARHs and fix stealth
yes, but the current jets would get their later models of ARHs and IRs, im not gonna debate whats good and whats bad, but believe me knowing gaijin they wouldnt care much
that too, but US is not the only operator of f35s, the italians will dominate top tier they already dominate ground just because the hungary’s 2a7 that every italian main spawns first
