Yeah, I agree partly.
I think it will be really difficult to rival War Thunderβs aircraft and weapons variety and fidelity
Missions and gamemodes however is woefully untapped, I really enjoyed the missions and briefings in the other air combat franchise named after individuals who score 5 kills or greater

Idk about DL channels but APG70 is more than capable of HMD/HMS slaving.

Instead of trying to compete with the sheer scale of War Thunder, a competitor would need to focus on the quality of the individual aspects.
On that note WARNO might actually update before warthunder lol

The last time I checked AIM-120B was the 1st full production model which featured mainly QOL changes. AIM-120A was more like an early test batch.

120B has reprogrammable memory
all american A designations are for mainly prototypes in use, i mean F15A wasnt used that much either, or any other missile with A, they always jump to the C models
