I think that should be one of their top priorities if they continue to keep adding more modern equipment. The game will not benefit if Gaijin continues to add large upgrades just 0.3BR above the current top tier.

Idea is that the raw numbers of US players will make them fix BOL. When fixed it’d be very useful for f15 since apparently it burns more intense but shorter than regular flares
I got the feeling once they release the F/A-18 they gonna do the same as the F-15s from this year.
I can totally see the F/A-18A being this years winter reward

Wouldn’t mind it as another squad vehicle but that is definitely possible. Maybe the A+ as a squadron, or in far future, the C+ or D+

Squad I’m iffy about but events especially if rank 9 gets added, gaijin will make loads from it
I dont think theyd make the F-18A squadron right after the F-117

Squad vehicles always accessible, a rank 8 or 9 event vehicle will be hell to grind out

Yeah I think US will go abit without any squadron vehicles, though I believe a country got back to back squadron vehicles with this update and previous but I genuinely forgot which one it was

I mean look at Germany event rewards for top tier aircraft most if not all were from winter.

For top tier air Germany is a bit of a special case NGL, but it is definitely possible for it to come that way though I wouldn’t like it much
Most people would grind there hearts out for it especially being Christmas time and GE task.

F-18A could be a premium because technically it wouldn’t be top BR.

The early F/A-18A is probably a 12.7 so yeah. Main argument against is that the YF-17 exists and would make more sense since its a prototype.
Itll be 13.0 if they add it as the A if its the A MLU itll be likely 13.7 because 10 AMRAAMs and 2 9Ms

Personally, I prefer prototypes to be event vehicles, while premiums should be standard tech tree vehicles with added accessories or cosmetics.
This way, it disrupts the game’s immersion less. Event vehicles eventually become rare and exotic, whereas premiums are a constant source of spam.

R-27EA uses the R-77 seeker-head, so we won’t have that on the Su-33 either. So it’s either Su-30SM or MiG-29K in my opinion.
