On one hand it’d be an amazing combined ASEAN tree with all 10 ASEAN nations.
But on the other hand Japan has no subtree options outside of ASEAN and is basically dead in the future without some of these nations, especially for air.
Then there’s also the strong technical connection between Singapore and Israel, so individually Singapore might be best there. Though since we’re seeing a trend of region/alliance subtrees I doubt Singapore alone is planned for them and it’s probably some Latin American countries.
Gameplay wise I’d prefer founding ASEAN members with Japan, since there is a need that couldn’t be filled any other way, and China could still receive nations heavily aligned with them such as Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia (in addition to their non-ASEAN options), so they wouldn’t come out empty handed either.
But logically an independent full ASEAN tree is obviously nothing that can be argued against.
Singapore for Israel would also be very reasonable since the connection is stronger and they do have arguably even more gaps to fill, even if there is alternative ways to do so.
Basically Gaijin has a good amount of reasonable options they can choose from, we’ll just have to see how they decide.
Patience. It’s better if they iron out the bugs before pushing it on stable.
Honestly, like I said before once, I would be OK if they merged november/december updates into one fleshed out bug-free update.
Ever since dovbleg became a thing, I started using random combinations of the letters in devblog, and that’s the most cursed one I could come up with, so I’ve been using it ever since. You’re the first one to mention it.
