btw the as 30l they give you as much of an stand off as any laser guided bomb as the max range is literally 11km, so yeah the mk5 gives france the same stand off potencial as the gr1
it only gets double the guided weapons if it takes the brimstones… which most wont take a full load of brimstones due to them being pretty unreliable to use, a more realistic loadout is probably 2 PGMs and 4 Paveway 4s
For spawning CAS, potentially France. Both ground lineups are pretty bad MBT-wise, but France does have VEXTRA for quick scouting and trying to take down IFVs compared to the fahris which Britain has. The better - albeit not much at the same time - mobility allows for leclercs to spawn CAS early as well by making earlier engagements.
ehh not really I would take the Leclercs and ITO 90 over the challengers and ADATS
The Desert Warrior has missiles, however, which make it significantly more versatile than the Vextra 105 or CV9035NL.
Indeed. The thing with claiming lots of guided weaponries is the fact that ARH dont care about range. Otherwise the Su-25T would be the best CAS in game with its 16x vikhrs.
I consider non-heli CAS in top tier as “spells” rather than actual units, take out key targets, maintain supremacy in a section of the map by doing so, get the hell out of here before AMRAAMs or SAMs arrive.
cant speak personally but apparently out of all the 10.0-10.7 IFVs its considered to be one of the worst apparently
That’s strange, since it should just be a better M3A3, which, while not amazing, is still perfectly viable.
yeah at least on paper it should ne but apparently people say its worse, not sure how when its faster forward and far faster in reverse
And also doesn’t have to wait for its missiles to deploy.
I think its more down to them gutting ATGMs ive heard TOW-2Bs are really bad now
I’ve used TOW-2Bs, and while I prefer TOW-2As, they’re still fine. Not the best things in the world, but reliable enough.
It has worse protection, worse optics(2-8x and fixed 8x on commander), and less flexible playstyle with ATGM. Albeit these problems are more of a paper thing. It also has bad pen compared to the bradley, while employing the bushmaster. Gotta be honest, its almost worse compared to the dardo 30 in every aspect except better thermals.
The dardo IFV is the best AC+non-spike combo at this BR I would say.
Dardo > ZBD04A > BMP-2M > 9040 BILL > Dardo 30 > 9040C > 9035NL > Fahris > Base Puma is the order I will put non-spike IFVs at this BR range.
i personally like the 2bs more they are really good against light vehicles
For the most part I can agree, however this I cannot. The ZBD04A is much better than the Dardo in my eyes due to its 4 second reload and being able to fire missiles on the move, and the BMP-2M is better than the ZBD04A overall.
The BILL features better pen but worse spall, ie consistent against even ERA mounted soviet designs, the TOW-2B are unreliable but can potentially oneshot leopards or challies.
Itd be nice if they could model the BILL and TOW-2B multiple warheads so theyd actually be good again
Yeah TOW-2Bs will def be more viable, since self-forged fragmentations spall very nicely. I am not sure with the HEAT warhead on RBS56 though.
the bill existing doesnt take that i prefer the 2bs over the 2as, btw the bills are slower, have a shorter range and they are worse against light vehicle due to the lower exposive mass, so they are not straight up an upgrade over the 2bs
Yeah. But for CV90 players they have a 40mm autocannon that can take out IFVs pretty reliably, while the BILLs would be reserved for actual Soviet/Russian MBTs which they cannot pen frontally. Most TOW-2B users bar the VCC dardo will struggle against other light vehicles with their low ROF.
