@Morvran with Swiss F/A-18C addition in the next update we can safely assume that Germany will get their rank 8 premium. “What premium is even possible” you might ask, well there’s Greek F-4E AUP which (simply put) is an F-4F ICE++ with same radar, same missiles but also improved with LITENING II, LGBs, tri-rack AGM-65 and new cockpit with HUD.

So Germany get 2x premium aircraft within a month of each other just beacuse they might be getting a Swiss F-18?
In that case I really hope Britain gets a Rank 8 premium ARH slinger next major update too.
F-4E Terminator 2020 cant carry AIM-120. Its just a further development of Kurnass 2000 upgrade. One of the reasons why it should come to Israel

Its just an assumption. Besides. With the F-15E being added, the arguments against the Typhoon start to fall away pretty quickly. Now Italy and Britain could get the Typhoon and Germany could get the F-18 instead I suppose, if you want the F-18 that badly
This argument is so stupid. It is on par with “just make better stuff”
We make better stuff, you lot say we shouldn’t get it because it is overpowered. We highlight that nations could do with bringing in more of their own stuff compared to America for an update or two, and suddenly we’re greedy because “America makes so much stuff” and “we’re missing out”.
If we’re going off who makes a tonne of kit, why the hell is the French tree dealing with copy paste and missing significantly more than the US without even introducing leaps and bounds in capability? Missing equivalent kit to what the US has received.

Yeah even Romanian MiG-21 LanceR wouldnt bring much since its A2G dedicated upgrade.

Magic 2 is currently missing a significant portion of its IRCCM given the poor simulacrum of targeting information. At present, it is incredibly easy to flare until someone gets within 1-1.5km of you (and this is with the BOL on Gripen), and it often goes for one flare when I launch it. This is on toptier French kit, so difference is sod all from your experience.
Then if you hit an American plane, you might get punished by it still flying fine because you failed to hit it just so. It feels on par with the mauser 27mm’s reliability when striking yank aircraft. At least on Ruski aircraft, they tend not to be flying so well after.

Would have been a great time to introduce MICA IR. Not really sure why the addition if it is missing one of the more notable improvements.
The RMV is a tad wierd. In GRB it has some nice upgrades over the R1 and I can just about see the value for its inclusion.
The In ASB, the 12.7 BR doesnt matter as there is no 12.3 bracket currently. So again, GPS bombs and HMD is a nice upgrade.
But in ARB… I dont think the HMD is enough of an upgrade to warrant the 12.7 BR.
The stuff’s cool and all, but you’d just take the abomination that is the 5F. Sure, higher BR, but you’ve actually longer range options to defend yourself and ground attack capacity with minimal sacrifice of AAMs.
If 5F lost the ahistoric ordnance, maybe it’d be a worthy addition but I’m just not convinced. Just really feel like it’s really weird.
I just see the RMV and possibly also the GR4, as aircraft added in readiness for Gen IR missiles to come to multiple nations at once. Then its addition makes more sense.
Maybe? But why not just keep them for when they can implement stuff properly instead of half assed?
Alternatively, bring these things in early to test with decent nations.
