Let me be devil’s advocate for a moment, this is a minor bug with little to no impact on gameplay. On the other hand I can name several bugs with massive gameplay consequences that have gone unfixed for years and remain so to this day.
Yeah that one is a small one but also it should be an incredibly simple problem to fix, but yet it took a whole year to fix.
Other issues like missing radar symbology or broken gunsights should be a priority given their impact on the game for Sim players
Maybe there’s some code spaghetti or something that complicates things.
I’m not a programmer though, so fair enough

I wouldn’t say that just yet. Mainly because if we just accept it it’s basically guaranteed they’ll do that, but if we don’t and try to fight it there’s at least a chance they’ll do the right thing instead.

Though I think Josh’s point is more that there are many little bugs that could be tidied up easily, but just aren’t because… idk Gaijin doesn’t employ enough people? Literally look at the “Stage 3G” radar on the F.3 Late. It’s the easiest fix in the workd (in fact I think a player could do it themselves by modifying lang files) but it’s just left because it “doesn’t matter” that much
Exactly this, most issues are small and don’t affect gameplay all that much but that should be relatively easy to fix. But they go ignored for months/years because of the fact that they aren’t game breaking. But then all these small issues pile up which means more and more issues don’t get fixed, which then increases the workload for the devs.
It would be better for both the players and the devs to fix these small issues when they first come up, like in the Dev servers.
It’s simply easier to clean up the mess as you go instead of letting the mess pile up and up to the point where it will take you ages to clean up.

Eurofighter’s available payload for air AND ground battles, combined with its avionics and flight performance, is so… beautiful.
People wonder why it’s not ingame yet, but I can perfectly tell why, hahah. This plane represents the peak of combat aviation.
Only 5th and 4++ gen fighters rival it in the air-to-air department, and dedicated strike aircraft in the ground attack department.

Copy paste HUDs…only new HUD ive seen in a while is the Su25SM3,F15 and some minor addons to the tornado that were missing for a very long time despite reports and also with reports the A10s(all) are still broken…
I expect the Eurofighter will be the best jet in the game when it’s added. The flight performance and avionics should be incredible.
It will also probably be one of the easiest 4.5 gen aircraft to submit reports for. There’s a surprising amount of information available about it.
It’s likely what’s being talked about behind the scenes is to determine how to split different versions of the F-15E. Honestly they should do the uprated engines for the tech tree then provide a Squadron/premium F-15E with the weaker engines and scaled back armament.
