Air:

F-15 is meta jet right now, and the AAM-3 are the best IR Missile in game and the AAM-4 are the best ARH missiles in the game. Technically, Japan has the best jet in the game right now with the F-15J(M)

F-2 likely next update I reckon and possible Thai Gripen C in your future

Ground

I havent heard anything good about Japanese tanks but nor have I heard anything bad. They are average, way better than the Challenger 2 or Ariete but not as good as the Leopard 2A7. Japans ground only seems to be really lacking a decent top IFV (like most nations) and a decent top tier SAM (which 50% are lacking currently)

Overall, Id put Japan as middle of the pack, ahead of Israel, Britain and Italy in overall top tier ground health, but just behind France and the US.

Naval

Japan dominates, if it wasnt for Scharnhorst, id give Japan the strongest naval tree in the game.

The type 10 doesnt handle like it should it doesnt fire like it should and the type 10 round has one of the worst spalls of any top tier round in games. It’s also nearly always a fatal hit on a type 10

I dont have issue with Japan having a good naval tree, but can Britain be allowed to get 1x WW2 BB or 16 incher.

Like HMS King George V or HMS Rodney before we start talking about the Yamato. Naval compression is bad enough as it is without adding an 18" gun ship vs vessel that probably cant pen her armour reliably.

Also the Yamato debate is silly. As someone who mains Japan for Naval, they really don’t need it now. Yeah Japan is not the best in Ground or Air. Making them overpowered in Naval does not fix the problem lol

F-117 is one of the weakest aircraft ever added. If you see one in an actual match past the first month (or the first month when people can get it for free), I would be genuinely surprised

Sure, I don’t care. All I want is Nagato. Don’t add anything else to Japans naval tree ever again after that for all I care. I’ll make that trade.
Is kinda nuts though that Britain is doing so poorly. Least you aren’t a French main or someone who devoted a bunch of time into the tree… ha ha… who would do something so silly…

I LOVE the TKX(P) its decent all around (dont have THE Type 10 yet though im half through it) I cant imagine the real one being any worse especially with one of the better shells in game
