I remember seeing how bad the f-14 was it was phoenixs launched almost on take off smacking the crap out of nearly everyone before any got a visually or lock on a f-14 to fire a missle back. That was broken

Yamato vs the current ships in the game would be orders of magnitude worse.

Even if you’re not trolling. Even if you do genuinely, albeit delusionally think Yamato would be acceptable to add now.
Why as a Japan main would you want that? Why would you condemn all other stuff you could before Yamato to being obsolete upon addition?
It’d be like jumping from the Chi-Nu straight to the Type 10. Why would you do that and never give things like STB / Type 90 etc their moment in the spotlight ?

Because of how neglect japan has been in ground and air and helicopter YES I WANT The Yamato. For having 2 12.0 tanks for having nothing but a type 81 c minus its radar dealing with helicopters that can kill it from spawn and NOW STEALTH BOMBERS. Yes I think the yamato would be a sort of an apology to japanese mains
Can we let other nations catch up to what Japan has right now, without adding a ship with 18" guns and heavier armour than anything else in game right now.
Britain doesnt even have one of her 16" ships yet or an actual proper WW2 era battleship. Japan has 6x Rank VI ships at the moment, 3 nations have only 3. Japan could go without a single new top tier BB for the next 3 major updates with France, italy and Britain getting one per update for the next 3 major updates (not including firebirds) and we would only just catch up
Also… Japan is way healthier in terms of ground and probably air than Britain is currently and WAY healthier when it comes to naval.

I don’t even get why people are talking about the Yamato. But since it’s being discussed, let me tell you, the Yamato won’t break the meta at all… It’ll get sunk in seconds by Phantoms with Mavericks and Kirov-class cruisers with missiles. Then Gaijin will hide it under the excuse that it’s “impossible to balance,” only to bring it back for anniversary events once a year ;)

In terms of Helicopters Japan has none, theres an SH-60 we can get and another domestic with 4 hellfires I believe

Not true we have the oh-1 and ah-2 prototypes but that didnt stop them from adding the adats or the hstvl did it
