Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

sry i got confused X)

I meant it carries propellant ^^’

It’s basically a bomb but with a guidance kit + propellant in the back, turning it into a low cost, fat and slow (< Mach 1) missile if you will

they just added more unfinished stuff, so no. probably next week or the week after

Dev servers dont have a set time. They go as long as they want.

what this? Just a M2K, not an M2KD so whats special

Ahem

Chinese players, I hope you can force Gaijin improve MICA-EM

It gets MICAs…

If it’s below Mach 1 I could see an engineer make a ramjet prop or something strange for testing.

oh shit, theyve gone very specific with the rwrs huh

Yeah dawg the PL12 is still gimped

MICA-EM*

An error occurred: Body seems unclear, is it a complete sentence?

The irony is not lost on me that the J10A leads directly into an inferior aircraft

come to notice they modeled the DDM pylons for the RMV, i wonder if theyll stick them on the 5F as well since they both get it and the 5F still has the basic rails

but GPS or laser guided

PGM 500 isn’t that bad, but the 2000 feels like it has the drag of that random toilet bomb in the US tree

i don’t have the j10, but i wouldn’t throw the missiles carried by mirage under the bus just yet.

The magics are difficult to flare and the MICAs are ridiculously good at short range
Both missiles are basically the fastest accelerating in their category, which means : little reaction time for the opponent

With the Dev being extended, it seems the earliest the update could come would be next Thursday or Friday.

I’m ok with this as long as we keep seeing improvements made on the Dev server.

mmmm Germany minor nation

AASMs have an IR seeker too optionally

Just in relation to this point (And i have no intention of rekindling the other topic you shut down), We have seen F15I loose access to AGM-65’s, seemingly on this basis?

Is there something to indicate the technical capability to mount these was removed on the Ra’am ? Or does this fall more in the realm of balance consideration?

Cheers for any insight.
