Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Most people would grind there hearts out for it especially being Christmas time and GE task.
You bet people would GE the event and I’ll be one of them lol

True true, we will see lol

F-18A could be a premium because technically it wouldn’t be top BR.

Proof it actually exists (I didn’t take a picture but I saw a D+ aswell)

I would like this as a camo for when the f-18c or c+ comes

The early F/A-18A is probably a 12.7 so yeah. Main argument against is that the YF-17 exists and would make more sense since its a prototype.

Itll be 13.0 if they add it as the A if its the A MLU itll be likely 13.7 because 10 AMRAAMs and 2 9Ms

Personally, I prefer prototypes to be event vehicles, while premiums should be standard tech tree vehicles with added accessories or cosmetics.

This way, it disrupts the game’s immersion less. Event vehicles eventually become rare and exotic, whereas premiums are a constant source of spam.

R-27EA uses the R-77 seeker-head, so we won’t have that on the Su-33 either. So it’s either Su-30SM or MiG-29K in my opinion.

Itll be MiG-29K its still WAY too early for Su-30

USN F/A-18A in 1983 it probably next pre-order pack rank 8 after F-20A Tigershark. Right ? 🤔

J-10AH ?

Sadly, I don’t know J-10AH specifications

It really depends, we could see the Su-30M2 and Su-30MKK added right now with no issues. Su-30SM/SM2 would be the late Su-30s for the Soviet tree.

Does it?

All I can find is the 27EA utilizes the 9B-1103K seeker

Yes. We won’t get a better radar until Su-35S/Su-30SM2, so I don’t think adding TVC would be that big of a deal. Su-33 would have canards anyways, so that or an Su-34 would be a model with crazy first turn pull anyhow.

@soviet_MoonMan and I went through the sources almost a year ago and found that it was using the same seeker as the R-77. This is likely because there are a lot of R-27’s in storage, but less than a hundred R-77’s built before then end of the USSR, and only a few thousand by the time Russia took over manufacturing of the entire missile (used to source some parts from Ukraine) in 2011-ish. The idea was to put the seekers on the R-27 bodies to increase the volume of ARH missiles in stock.

Interesting well I figured the 33 would be a good way to bring it in well damn :p

Su-35S/su-30sm2 should come with f22 they are considerably newer aircraft, with TVC and canards

Nah thats too late theyd be DOA I think they should test Su-30 and let us see its flight perf but Su-30SM should come with EFT and Rafale

Su-30SM introduced 2013 and has AESA radar and the flight performance stuff with access to r37m i think and definitely acess to r77

Also f22 is maybe just over a year off I think. We’ve really been going leaps and bounds since the F-15 and su27 were added
