Heres hoping gaijin doesnt just go the finland route and make anything unique prem/event only. If they did that id rather they just not add the TT then.

so what is the uk getting all together then? the scimitar which is pretty cool, a worse BC because we needed one of those, an OSA which I guess we needed a 3rd 10.0-10.3 SAM, and then the disappointment that is the Gr4, they could have just given the Gr1 a better pod and the IR PGMs and it would have been arguably just as good as the Gr4
Thing is the aircraft in the picture is F-16C Blk 30 while what we have in game is F-16C Blk40 and F-16D Blk 40.
When it comes to F-15E, it removed AGM-65 capability later into service. By the time first F-15I got delivered (1998) F-15E’s would’ve served for 10 years already. Also we cant forget that F-15I got multiple changes compared to its American and other versions.
Why ask for Mavericks when SPICE 1000/2000 and Popeyes exist? Ask for that, especially SPICE which could go to F-16C/D and F-15I.
Right. GR.1 then would “only” miss:
- HMS + AIM-9M
- MAWS
- Better Engines
- Paveway IV
- Brimstone
- Probably even more, I just don’t remember now
Perhaps most people here think IR PGMs would be a wonder weapon but sadly this isn’t true. What they would add to the game over TV ones?
One of the main weakness for TV PGMs is the fact they are incredibly slow. How IR PGMs will change that?

so better engines the tornado Gr1 could also get, the brimstones arent worth taking, the paveway IVs are pretty good I wont lie but if the Gr1 got half the upgrades it should have it would be arguably better at a lower br since it wouldnt have 9Ms pushing it up in br, it could also get 9L/is do really the only down side is the MAWs and HMS
reliability they have a massive issue of them just exploding mid flight because their seeker has a tendency to lose the track
I completely forgot about the superhind, I guess thats kinda neat
They also operate a halirously modernised FV101 Scorpion with thermals and a LRF. Should be a right lark if added around all the leopard 1s etc. Not too much pen, but should be able to plonk little bundles of tea HESH on top of turret roofs with amusing results!

If Brimstone are not worth taking for you it doesn’t mean they are not worth taking for everyone
Brimstone add to the Tornado GR.4 a lot more capabilities and possibilities, if you do not see the advantages they bring it doesn’t mean they are not worth taking.
I don’t see how IR PGMs would solve that. What would solve it is IOG and TV PGMs are supposed to have it too, there is a report about it.

Just a longer track range, If you ask me i would rather have the laser guided ones, but no idea if they could be used on the tornado.

Because I am very considerate of the progress of Gaijin’s workload, so that they can complete the addition of weapons with just a simple CP.
I have no hope for the thought that the Spice of F-16D has been submitted for a year and there is still no progress.
Every inquiry is like a stone thrown into the sea without any response.

Nah, wheres the fun in that? (TBF its a recce tank, and the L5/L23 gun is more than enough for other LTs etc)
