Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

It would make more sense to atleast put the Mirage 2000 before the J-10, preferably without a connection. So the Mirage 2000 is the end of the taiwanese line

Not all of them will be added in the form, that many players want…

IIRC the GR.1/4 use different under-fuselage pylons compared to the Tornado IDS.

I’ve always said, in my personal opinion, that the best way was to let the ROC line be that, then divide the PRC line into Chnegdu and Shenyang. I know that there are already different planes from both industries in the same line right now, but Shenyang adopted quite a style with its choice to double down on flankers, therefore i would divide the line with J-11 and J-10.

Yeah the weird thing with the J10s placement is that aside from making the ROC line feel kinda weird (example being this update going from the J10 to the M2K is arguably a downgrade)you also have the same problem of potentially way too many planes clogging a line

Yes, as we previously explained it was decided based on balance considerations to launch the aircraft initially with it’s standard operational load of 9 Brimstones + a targeting pod.

The test loadout or 18 was done with the original variant of Brimstone that was not dual mode and thus had no SAL guidance. So it didn’t need a pod. The variant in game always needs a pod for its mode of operation, meaning the max could only ever be 15 if the wing stations were used for dual modes too.

Rright now, as I said above, the aircraft is planned to be launched with it’s standard operational load. Once there has been some time to review things, it’s possible the Devs will review the experimental wing stores later.

Instead of getting their air-to-surface missiles on the J-10, China is being given a clone of the Mirage 2000, which does not carry air-to-surface weapons at all.

something wrong with the MAWS?My game crashes when the MAWS triggered

Currently yes, it’s where it’s intended to be with the other single engine light fighters. As more vehicles appear, it’s possible things may be reviewed and adjusted, but right now it doesn’t interfere with the attacker line or the “heavy” twin engine fighter line.

Hey @Smin1080p_WT , I apologize for the second ping, but could I get an answer regarding this (in the post to which I’m replying)? You may have not seen this one, as it was posted when you were offline…

They mentioned it !

That makes it easier for me to mention this:
