So how come minor nations get told to suck it up even with subs while the US get at least 1 or 2 top tier jet’s in an update
Yeah, fingers crossed too on that one.
Yeah, I can see it being a niche bring, always something maybe better at most BRs but its wierdly usable at all BRs. Though I doubt at top tier.
I mean, prior to the latest BR changes you could have used the Lynx, which is pretty powerful at that BR
Well, U.S has produced more Top Tier-worthy jets and variants than nearly all other ingame nations combined, so it’s kinda inevitable…

Only true if war thunder doesn’t bend the rule for every nation the Germans could of easily got the F-15 like the AJ. Or a sub like us Brits
Whilst true, my major objection to that would be the sheer list of aircraft never added for other nations. Whilst they might not all be “top tier” I think you could easily match the US on the number of available additions. (and thats without even mentioning sub-trees)
For Britain for example:
heck we dont even have a proper bomber variant of the Mosquito yet
But US gets the most because its the most popular nation. Look at naval, focusing only on WW1/WW2. Britain should have a tree twice the size of any other nation in game quite easily. But its one of the smallest in game
I think that it would be much harder to lock, and would cause the radar to be wonky/inaccurate.
It might make a top tier quality radar act like an early radar or something like that. I am curious as to how it will work.
I don’t mind USA getting ton of jets, they would say it has a lot irl, minor nations have a few compated to it; but hell why don’t we get new interwar/WW2 plane for Italy each update, they also have a lot of them without even taking Hungary and Romania into account.
And that the issue they could be bulking up smaller nations to get people to play them more not just add filler because someone dear god will get bored
Germany will already be getting Swiss F/A-18C next update, which will put it at the peak of air capabilities among all nations until they get Eurofighter, which will put them even further at the peak.
They just can’t… I mean, which F-15 could it have “easily” got, which you mentioned?

Least popular nations get less (both in content and attention) so less people play them.
This can’t be the reason because Germany would get a Leo 2 every update.

Ground Top Tier has been abandoned since December 2023… not a single MBT for anyone ever since.
Gaijin has just been putting way, way, way, way, way too much focus on Top Tier air this whole year, IMO.

But I exclusively play top tier so I’m extremely biased. Personally, looking forward to when everyone gets their Gen 4.5s and we’re at the cusp of Gen 5s.
Hyping up modern toys and selling grinding machines to get them faster is their entire business model which sucks a lot.
Could cut it off here and still have it be true.
The main reason why they’re doing it is just that there’s more to add. We’re already at modern MBTs, but we don’t even have an F-18 yet.
I mean that’s not an excuse to give them nothing.
If a top-top tier item isn’t available, give them stuff like their modern jet trainers, or missing Cold War jets(especially with early that was effectively skipped outside a handful of big names), or something from WW2 that isn’t exactly short of new things that could be added. At worst some C&P used by the could be added.
And bar naval right now(tho this may be applicable to them soon as well), if there is nothing “modern” able to be added right now, in Gaijin’s opinion, go older there isn’t a shortage of stuff, if anything it’s overflowing.
Advanced Trainers and LCAs are soooo overdue its not even funny at this point
