Yeah, I’m using the J-11A though, which is unfortunately an even heavier airframe. J-11B is a different beast however and I’m looking forward to that maybe December update/early next year. J-15 seems more likely given the naval theme.

No dude, it would get all the missiles the MSIP currently has with much better flight performance.
Or, hear me out, instead of advocating for a continuation of having a few nations massively leapfrog over others, we advocate for a simultaneous release of comparable aircraft so nobody gets left behind.

I almost have the J-11, and I’m looking forward to both it and the J-11A, just because I like collecting Flankers, but I know the best is already behind me, so to speak.
I was hoping the J-10A would be fun, but it sounds like it’s really just a dogfighter, which is a cool change of pace if nothing else… I guess.
J-10A is actually quite decent. Even though PL-12s lack range against AIM-120, they have better maneuverability and you can use HMD to hit some pretty nasty shots up close. It also has a decent radar which doesn’t have the best range, but also has the SMT gimmick in which you can pretty much notch 90 degrees versus enemy radar and still guide PL-12s. Flight performance-wise it is up there with Block 10 F-16 and Gripen.

So everyone has to wait and endure F-15C dominance for another year until such time the US has crept foward to Typhoon levels then?
imo, with the right buffs (and it wouldnt take much) F-15C MSIP II = Typhoon Tranche 1 Block 5.

So I think they need to make that tiny jump to put all nations back onto equal footing, at the moment the F-15C nations are way ahead.

We got the MiG-29 and F-16 in the same patch. I could see more than just the EFT’s being added. TBH, we could still get Euro-Canard update in December, with a pittance to the US via some lame Hornet, seems fair to me, tbh.
If you’re adding an Su-30 to compliment the EFT/Rafale, I think we go to Su-30SM at that rate anyways, I don’t think anyone is ready for the Su-35S yet.
China would J-15 or maybe J-10C. J-10C would keep with the Canard theme of a patch…

For China it would probably be J-11B, or maybe J-10B (J-10 with DSI intake, slightly more powerful engine, and PESA radar)

J-10C might be a bit too early imo. It’s using AESA radar and a decently powerful engine (as long as Gaijin gives it WS-10B instead of AL-31FN Series 3 like the early batch).

so either you’re taking the one time “US and Russian dominance for months” happened (F-14A and Mig-23 MLD incidents) and applying it like it’s always the case.
or… you really just dont realize how much air meta does change…
note the U.S. will never be BAD at air. It’s just not gonna happen given the vehicles they’ve made. Russia… cant say the same thing they’ve been going through it the last few updates.
But regardless of that. No nation should be leap frogging leagues ahead of everyone else. Britain is on the back foot right now simply because Derbys just aint great
Germany is in the back foot because they just didn’t have anything after the ICE until the EFT.
Italy, France, Japan, Sweden, China, Israel are all chillin.
3 nations are “struggling” while 7 are doing fine all things considered.
Could also give the US the Sweden treatment, and make them wait for Hornet until the spring patch, roll everything else on the list???
I think Jas39C and F-16C should be in S tier. Sure, they have fewer missiles than the F-15, but they have superior avionics, so they are S tier.
The Typhoon DA1 does not have a radar. I would really like to know how it could use radar missiles without one.
They wouldn’t have to wait because they would be getting comparable aircraft. And I do not understand why you keep insisting that the F-15C is on the same level as any of the typhoons, the Typhoons have the SAME MISSILES with a MUCH BETTER AIRFRAME. US would need a comparable aircraft, which would be the Super Hornet, and even then the Typhoon would probably be dominant.

the reason I put them at A tier is because they lose to the 15C in the BVR fight and they cant match the J-10A in the dog fight.
It’s kind of a “you’re not bad you just aren’t quite as good as these two. They just have a lil extra in a certain department that you’re out of reach of”
really the gap only gets big at C tier and below.

I dont see why you are ignoring the fact the F-15C is the superior BVR truck, with 8x AMRAAM vs 4 maybe 6 on the Typhoon, with equal performance radars avialable for it and a greater CM count. The F-15 would have equal climb rate, maybe even superior if we are talking about the Typhoon with Torando engines. It would also be easy for the F-15C to even be given an AMRAAM advantage in teh form of early Cs vs the Bs on the Typhoon.
You are literally saying other nations arent allowed to get anything until the US gets a superior aircraft. F-18E would be a superior aircraft to the Typhoon DA or Tranche 1 Block 5 .
We would need Tranche 2 Typhoons to compete with F-18E
It’s just insane the lengths the US mains will go to, to maintain their lead in game. I bet you we will be back here with the F-18E 6 months old and you will be making new claims that the Typhoon Tranche 1 cant be added unti the US gets better than the F-18E. Probably F-15EX or something

eh it can kinda go either way, the EJ Kai’s Radar was just monstrous especially back then.
