I love the 2000-5F but it really is a wild card.
FM is solid, Fox 3s are undeniably the best within their range but non-factors at long ranges, radar is aight.

So a Su-32? There’s no Su-33UB. Su-30M or Su-30SM have served in the Russian Navy. I’d happily take an Su-30SM alongside the J-15.

I still see you just confirming my point. Typhoon vs F-15C would be an overall fair fight and the Typhoon would only be marginally above the F-15C as the Typhoon would have inferior BVR but superior WVR capabilities. With the right buffs to the F-15C though, it oculd be made equal (Upgraded radar, BOL, later AMRAAMs) and they could be placed at the exact same BR without issue.
When the Gripen was added, everyone called it OP and major calls for it to be nerfed. Now I only see calls to see it get buffed like fixing BOL.

Also they have wrong drag, to much of that, and lack acceleration (part of why they are lacking at long range)
If Gaijin work better on them they have still room for improvment ^^

For the full 6 months after it was added? I still saw calls to have it nerfed right up until the ARH update. Then they stopped cold turkey
Now I see calls for its BOL to be fixed and for it to get things like MAWS
I wish theyd actually fix the J11A so its as it should be

I don’t know what the SU32 is, as far as I know, the su33 does not have BVR capabilities, but then there is a modified model called “su33ub” that can launch the R77. Because both the J15 and F18 have top-of-the-line radar and capabilities, it would be unfair that the SU33 base model could not launch the R77.
I also remember some test showing before the release than the M4K winned EVERY 1vs1 in the game, even the Gripen, but this quickly go under the radars :(
And? That’s not DOA, that’s about on par. You have better flight performance in exchange for having fewer missiles. Perhaps it won’t be meta, but saying it would be DOA is an exceptional exaggeration.
The Korean public freaked out over sharing intel on North Korea with Japan over concerns of rearmament being a greater threat then China, and this was in like 2012. While relations are improving, they are far from the point of a S. Korean sub making sense.
The only way that is true is if the Eurofighter has comparable flight performance to the F-15, and everything I’ve seen online indicates superior performance. The Typhoon will have, at worst, missiles that are on par with the F-15, calling that fight fair is a stretch.
I don’t know about 2nd worst, I think that goes to the J-11A and F-4F ICE. But it’s an incredibly contextual plane, given how hard it is to acquire targets with it’s radar, and the energy drop-off of the R-77. It’s quietly a decent multirole however.
Maybe I struggle to visualize the numbers, but everything I read said the R-77 should perform like an AIM-120C (early), and that the R-77-1 is about on par with the C5. It sure as shit doesn’t even feel close to the B’s in game.
As much as fixing the velocity is nice, I’d love to have them just bum the ACQ to the 17.5 or 19.5km range that like every other plane has in game. That or fix the 27ET’s to make them worth more than a funny kill on someone not paying attention.
I don’t even count the F-4F ICE in the conversation dude.

12 years ago. A LOT can happen in 12 years and Japan and Koreas relations afaik have drastically improved

I’ve read better things on the F-16AM, specially with the bonus for the MAWS more usable than on other F-16s.
