I haven’t known missiles have been coming for years. Pantsir isn’t the first to have warningless modes.
ADATS, Flarakrad, 2S6, etc all have IR tracking modes
And it won’t be the last.
You S1 on your RWR just assume the Pantsir has already launched
Pantsir is not “warning less” tho, it just have a special K band for target tracking, which most RWR in game can’t detect (except heli EC665 iirc, at least the German one can detect a Pantsir’s locking signal). Plus, it also has IR mode, but usually you just don’t need it.
Maybe JF-17 can also detect that?
Also IR mode requires clear sky as background, no clouds.And a LRF is needed if you want your IR lock to show specific distance.
Still hard to judge where the missile is, because it’s long range.
When facing Flarakrad or ITO, you can stay in about 10km where you can see it launch, and pull in right time to avoid it, but it’s hard to do the same to Pantsir.
Agree that Pantsir is still avoidable, it’s mobility is worse than VT-1, especially within 5km

Not for a long time if we’re being honest. We’re practically at the cutting edge in terms of ground forces as it is, the only things left to add is filling out the TTs with vehicles.
There’s a reason Gaijin hasn’t given us 13.0 tanks, there aren’t really any 13.0 tanks to add yet, at least enough where everybody can get something.
At least we agree in some regards, though I do think even NATO friendly nations like Indonesia and Singapore are big stretches for Japan even then.
As for Vietnam, while the population, from what I’ve seen, has very colorful words to say about the Chinese, the government has much more favorable things to say about them. While I wouldn’t say they are pro China, it would be a mistake to say they are pro-west as well.
I think adding the invaded country of WW2 as a subtree to the invading country is an insult to them. Moreover, only China in the red camp has NATO vehicles, while in contrast, the blue camp, outside of the United States and France, all have vehicles belonging to the red camp

Vietnam I am really not sure since they do have mostly eastern equipment, but the strongest opinions on China I have heard in my life come from Vietnamese. Maybe Russia, though I’m not sure they need a subtree considering we are very much in the phase of making smaller nations catch up to the likes of Russia.
I don’t think adding Vietnam as a subtree to China is a good idea either since the Vietnamese and Chinese do not like each other, not helped by the fact that China tried to colonise Vietnam for the longest time, Vietnam being in the Soviet camp [and strangely enough the pro-Albania camp during the Sino-Albanian split] during the cold war, China being a very strong supporter the Khmer Rouge regime of Kampuchea with said overthrow of the regime resulting in China invading Vietnam in 1979 and both countries having an ongoing border dispute in the South China Sea.
In the end of the day Vietnam’s geopolitical stances is centred towards preserving the nation of Vietnam by any ways necessary, sometimes it’s pro China, sometimes it’s pro West, sometimes it’s both, sometimes it’s neither

Yeap, a bit sad that once again it’s air focused update but hey, if kv-7 will come for dreams come true i’m not complaining.
