Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Well, now you’re all satisfied. The Chinese faction lost Singapore and will continue to be a place where no one cares, haha, more people want Singapore to go to Japan TT - how many Singaporeans are there? And how many Japan faction players are there?

Is the Singapore to China thing even real from the beginning? The Chinese leaker seem to imply he have not heard anyting about it.

The leaklist that said that also included several things that have been proven to be wrong.

The leaklist in question.

Whilst some items seem reasonable, they could also be easily guessed based upon assumptions/recent datamines.

I think its unlikely imo. Though also could go either way, Gaijin seems very… Random… With Sub-TT placements these days

maybe a misinterpreted rumor. here is my imagination:
Gaijin is studying a Chinese sub, choosing a region, they listed possible regions, including Singapore, which do have many Chinese culture influence. Somebody heard this, then leak to the leaker, not sure how many intermediaries it through, and finally it’s misinterpreted.

I know a lot of people will say, “Ah, there’s a better option for China, like Pakistan or North Korea.” But all the weapons and equipment information of North Korea is unknown, and if there really is a North Korean subline, then we have to accept a completely fictitious vehicle by Gaijin? Pakistan cannot form a subline on its own, and some of its vehicles are also modified Chinese weapons and equipment - this makes no sense. Why can other countries get a sub-tree that has little connection to their country, but not the Chinese faction? Do the three Low Countries of France or Hungary of Italy have anything to do with them?

I would not be surprised, a lot of the items on that list seemed more like over-heard concepts rather than actual plans

Yes the leak for vehicle to come next update is usually quite accurate, but I found leak for longer term seems to be more dubious.

By definition defining a band for the radar means it’s not AESA, but PESA, btw. Used in marketing it’s likely either a misnomer or translation errors.

Chinese TT still has enough choices to fill the TT, ITA don’t.
Add a L2A4 is meaningless

F/A-18E Blk 1 standard coming to 2026 or 2027 for USA tech tree to USN fighter line. my guess

That is the other thing that makes me question this leak

Does China even need a Sub-TT? Especially over Japan or Israel

Between China and Taiwan + export variants, they have quite a roster to call upon.

I doubt if it will come so quickly. I think it should be a forerunner of next gen jets, a test, should not be earlier than next top jet major update
and some of the Chinese leaker’s vehicles often get delayed

So three Leopard 2s in France are good? Is that right? Everyone said to China “No, you are not allowed to take even a leopard” but to France “Here you are, your three leopards”. France also has no shortage of tanks that can be launched. China can have a lot of its own vehicles, but do you think Gaijin will give them all to the Chinese faction?

Italy was one of the main suppliers during interwar period for Hungary, they both supported German invasion against USSR. There are also Hungarian vehicles based on/modified from Italian ones (Heja, Heja 2, CR.32bis and CR.42 with Gebauer mgs, L3s). They are both in NATO, regularly participating in joint trainings. The same can be said about Romania.
So there is indeed some connection.

I think a lot of people, France included are unhappy with BeNeLux.(Or at least the vehicle choice)

Likewise Britain with India.

To use one bad sub-tt as justification for another, doesn’t really work

Also, Italy is somewhat officially the home of “minor axis nations”

Well, both China and Singapore fought together against Japan fascism in World War II. Singaporeans contributed to China’s war of resistance 80 years ago, and their ancestors fought with us 80 years ago. To this day, Singapore has a Memorial Hall of the Victory of Resistance Against Japan.

why not, it’s a lazy and irresponsible behavior of adding meaningless C&P and shouldn’t be encouraged.

Less connection then Canada, but still enough to make it make sense as a British subtree, especially if they are planning to rework subtrees, which I think they are based off the leaks.

As for Japan’s subtree, I honestly think Thailand is enough.

Not really, that leak list was in reference to the far and near future. Even if it does get some things wrong, that can easily be attributed to changing plans.

It also references an F-117 being added, which is consistent with leaks that have been, so far, entirely credible, being accurate with the implementation of a Russian copy paste boat, HE 177 w/ guided missiles, British Scimitar, and maybe the T77 as I am unaware of when exactly the leak was posted. Point is, there is no reason as of yet to doubt their credibility, especially when they haven’t been contradicted as of yet.

Practically everything approaching modern is also classified, and may as well be made up, so N. Korean vehicles won’t be much different.

It should also be noted that Europe, generally speaking, have closer cultural and historical connections owing to being on a contiguous landmass, and are on largely good terms. Singapore and Indonesia are relatively isolated and, more importantly, have strained relations with China.

2 possibilities.

  1. Gaijin is just being lazy or stretched thim, and would rather give China a copy paste subtree then make a 5th Chinese line with domestic vehicles

  2. Gaijin is reworking subtrees or the UI to either make multiple subtrees possible in the 5/7 lane system, or give nations the ability to have more then 5/7 lanes.

Hoping for 2, honestly. While there are a few nations out there that can do full TTs, they don’t exactly grow on trees. There are far more nations with a few interesting vehicles out there that can’t support a full tree that would be great to see as subtrees.

No. People also hate the fact that Gaijin is just giving France Leopards instead of buffing the Leclercs or giving France more indigenous vehicles.

By that logic, you could argue for PRC being a subtree for the US. About all they have in common is fighting Japan, and since then relations have deteriorated.
