I doubt it’s Obj 787 given how terrible of a vehicle that would be in WT.
It would have to be placed very low like 9.0 or 9.3 to even be considered remotely viable given it’s terrible mobility + lackluster firepower.
Except that is the exact opposite of what people are asking for. They want aircraft like the Su-34 and F-15E. Those could continue to push some ahead and leave others where they are at
Im just suggesting, what if maybe the only additions for aircraft this update anywhere near top tier was stuff like:
Tornado Gr4, ASSTA3 and A200C
Maybe the end of line Mirage CAS aircraft for France
etc etc
and maybe the US and USSR only got something from WW2 era, or maybe no aircraft at all?
Would it be such a crime, to put the focus of the update on another nation? (Heck, evne with no aircraft, they would probably focus on US and USSR ground vehicles or something)

France could use some differing light tank support, would work for them too.
It may yet, just might not have mentioned it in the dev-blog.
They might be gettng a different variant or soemthing and it wasnt quite ready

Also, I dunno about the KV-7. It’s a neat tank, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think it has the starpower to be the main prize for Dreams Come True, though I am not exactly in the know in regards to what Russian mains want.
Not really from what I understand. From what I understand on the subject, they don’t have better performance then stuff that’s in the game at the moment.
Moreover, when have people not asked for the newer vehicles? It’s been that way as far as I can remember for every nation.
Still… Its driving me nuts that we were told “no you cant have the EFT, we’d need the F-15C MSIP II” first. (when Britain’s best fighter to fight the F-16C was the Tornado F3)
That aircraft will be 6 months old by december…
and now its, “no, you cant have the EFT yet, we need the Super-Hornet first, but here take this C&P F-18C instead”
Just getting really annoying. If the Super-Hornet gets added, im willing to bet money people will say “no, you cant have the EFT yet, we need the F-22 first.”

People keep putting these aircraft on a pedestal without realizing what kind of nerfs and changes will happen once it gets adapted into WT.
I’m tired of the F-2 itself being gatekept because of AESA radar that won’t matter. Even when people should mostly be worried about its flight performance as it’s based from THE apex design of the F-16 airframe (a bit ironic too).
Reminds me of when the Type 10 was gatekept for so long, ignoring the fact that stuff like the Leo 2A5 (and later A6) was in the game far earlier, doing pretty much everything the Type 10 can do besides Gen 3 thermals and reload speed.

I wouldn’t know man, idgaf about the Eurofighter, though I would imagine we’ll see it soon. We’re starting to get into jets from the 2000s, so we are either at the point where it can be implemented, or right behind it.
EDIT: Though I’d wager being added at about the time of the superhornet is most likely as they were both introduced at about the same time, so I’d assume their flight performance/capabilities are similar
More important is how accurate the leaks have been, and so far, they’ve been right on the money.
I’d say they shoulda added the XF-2A with APG-68 instead of F-15J. Then skip straight to F-15J(M) (except it’d just be F-15J) for the Fox 3 update. All would be well.

Lets put it this way.
Typhoon:
- Likely a max loadout equal to the Su-27 (10x AAMs) so less than the F-18C or Su-27SM
- Likely no advanced defensive kit like MAWS or ECM, etc.
- Likely limited to no A2G
- Likely equal AAMs to those already at top tier (Aim-9M/Aim-9Li and Aim-120Bs) maybe even inferior depending on the timelien for Aim-120C and equivalents
- Limited to only BOL (which is nerfed to be 1/4 the strength IRL, maybe more) This means flaring and chaffing missiles will be very hard
- War Thunder uses thrust for heat sigs, high thrust aircraft like the Harrier are incredibly hard to flare any missile in currently (I had a PL-5B ignore 10 flares and me throttling way down in the FRS1e earlier today) Typhoon will be very high thrust in all likelyhood
- No gurantee it will get CAPTOR-M modeled. Willing to bet it will spend the first 3-6 months with Blue Vixen from the FA2
(I also wouldnt be surprised if we spent the first few months submitting bug reports to get its FM buffed up to the right place)
With all that considered. The only real advantage is the Typhoons TWR. Which yes is very good, but not going to be game breaking. The difference would be no greater than exists between the F-15C and literaelly every other aircraft at top tier right now. Last time I tried the Gripen in ARB, I spent the first 10 minutes on the defensive, took out 1 Su-27 that wierdly presented an easy shot and then I ate 3x Aim-120s despite spamming chaff and notching and at one point, people said the Gripen was OP.
It would be really disappointing if the F-18C came in December and not hte Typhoon and Britain, Italy and Germany all got C&P F-18s instead of the Typhoon and France got nothing.
we have had more gimped flight models then actual functional ones in the british tree so its not a hard belief that gaijin will mess it up

It took nearly 2 years for the Tornado FM to be “fixed” and even then, technically… Its still wrong and underperforming

Stuff like this is why I can’t take some people seriously when they complain all these new stuff will be OP. Like "have you seen how incompete certain things are?"
