Still… Denying most nations their next gen of fighter, even though they really wont be these god-tier aircraft everyone thinks they would be, just so that a few nations can get equal (though more likely) better aircraft notably earlier, just seems like an insane policy to me.
Though I do also want to present another option for this update.

Over the course of the last 2 years, the US has gotten a new aircraft every single update, without fail. What if this year they got some WW2 aircraft instead, and no top tier stuff at all ? Or maybe even no aircraft at all?
Is it Blasphemy to suggest that maybe a nation like the US, doesnt get something every update without fail?

I mean F-18C and 90s MiG-29M aren’t really that much better than current stuff. F-15C will probably be still the better aircraft than the F-18C, and while the MiG-29M absolutely obliterates the SMT and Su-27SM in terms of flight performance the missiles and avionics are the same (slightly worse radar) of the SMT. MiG-29K performance advantage is even less.
Eurofighter, Rafale, F-2, Super hornet etc. are all a step above.
I can genuinely see the F-18C coming with Aim-120Cs and the Mig-29M or whatever the USSR gets with R-77-1s
Meanwhile, the Eurofighter will probably be limited to 4-6 Aim-120Bs at most, wont have most of its defensive kit, probably a limited FM, probably a nerfed radar (due to lack of data) or maybe even just the Blue Vixen from the FA2 as a placeholder for months. IR Missiles will probably always hit due to high thrust + BOL being a powerful combo to nerf any aircraft (look at FA2 try to flare most things)
It might be good in some situations, but honestly… Im expecting it to be so massively handicapped that it ownt be better than what we’ve got in game now, like the F-15C.
Early Rafale is probably worse or equal to the current M2Ks (both in loadout and a really bad AESA radar iirc)
F-2 is barely an upgrade over the F-16C iirc, if any at all, AESA probably ownt be this god -tier addition, most probably wont even notice a difference.
That’s a bit much. Thailand is enough to round out the Japanese tree in both air and ground, they don’t really need Singapore and Indonesia provided they get Thailand.
Unlikely seeing as how most of the air playerbase mains those two nations, especially as a lot of the vehicles they get can, and does, end up in other nations.
Yeah… But still… Would be nice to knock them down a peg or 2. Watch them maintain status quo for the next 6-8 weeks. Instead of having a dozen new shiny toys and everyone else sat with the same thing they’ve had for years
I mean they shouldn’t add them with 120C5s and R-77-1s (also the early 90s 29M i’ talking about can’t carry 77-1).
Also i dont know what makes you think the Eurofighter will have a gimped flight model. So far when something needed to be estimated gaijin always went with optimistic values (look at Jas39 and J-10 as easy examples).
Gripen… Just look at the massive nerfs it got, like the 100% fake and rather insane BOL nerfs. A year on and those bug reports to undo those nerfs are still sat acknowledge.
I can genuinely see the Typhoon being very restricted in terms of FM, or be slapped with a load of other handicaps, like a weak radar, weaker AAMs, etc etc that mitigate any FM performance significantly, So much so that you’ll spend most of hte match just defending against ARH and wont actually ever get to fire back other than some AMRAAM spam and pray. (again, probably going to be insanely vulnerable to any IR missile, due to extremely weak flares and massively high thrust, to defend against even something like an Aim-9E or R-60 would probably take throttling way way down and spamming flares, like it does in the Harrier, but worse)
Either way, Last year, EVERYONE was saying the Typhoon was equal to the F-15C MSIP II and that would need to be added first and its insane to think the Typhoon could be added before, or even with it.
Its interesting that has now magically shifted to Super Hornets or even later variants of the F-15 to be balanced. (wouldnt be surprised if it shifts again to F-22s when those are added)
This could work if it gets better AMRAAMs, since otherwise it would be worse than even current top tier.
F-16ADF with AIM-120C-5 and AIM-9L/I-1 would be nice.
Oh I meant non-AESA hornet for US and Germany. Someone has to draw the short end there. Not everyone had AESA at the same time. Fortunately AESA doesn’t matter currently since datalink is nerfed.
Seeing Gaijin potentially move to “fix” French top tier ground by giving it 2 Leopards (2A5 + 2A6) instead of fixing the Leclercs saddens me but doesn’t surprise me one bit; this is a totally in character move for them.
Not really? I know it’s been an issue historically, but lately Gaijin has been pretty good at making sure everyone has SOMETHING when going to the next rank or BR.
I hope this means they go back and start adding some more strategic bombers. Even without a rework, they can probably get away with going as far as early variants of the B-52.
For the leak list I’m expecting the hidden dreams come true vehicle to be the KV-7 (U-13) as that was leaked a while back by Olivia and fits the amount of characters. The __. ___ vehicle is probably the Pr.253 as that is in the newest chinese list. The hidden premium could be many things but it’s probably an Object ### of some kind, my guesses are 140, 430, 287, or 787 since those have all been talked about in q&as or datamined or leaked in the past.
