i mean, they can get an F-16 with fox 3, thats the same as many others will get

the problem is that we dont seem to be able to explain the devs that we have the advanced alpha jet in the game. the model they choose has the ecm antennas on top as well as the flares. the manual they have choosen is an old one that doesnt include the ecm either. those they are wrong on the used engine for this particular variant
The developers are aware of this. However, again, this is the same situation as the Tornado GR.1, which has many of the elements of the later service Tornado GR.1s, but the early engines.
Alpha Jet As could have ether engines as an option. Our model in game uses the engines conforming to the manuals. Flares, as always are also not an indication of a late / early. But subject to balance considerations and other matters.
This is an intentional choice by the developers. Like the Tornado GR.1.

Apologies to ask ya this @Smin1080p , but are there any plans for drop tanks for the F-20/F-5Es this patch, or will those likely be coming in the future? They’re kind of a needed feature for something with as small an internal fuel load as the F-20, even when full (24 minutes tops, if I remember right)
(I lumped the F-5Es with the F-20 as I think they used the same wing/centerline tanks)

In my opinion, I’m quite assume that gaijin could add AIM-120 AMRAAM on F-16A Block 20 MLU in 2nd major update of this year but not sure might be AIM-120C-3 or AIM-120C-5
I hope gaijin not forget add Paveway II LGB & LANTIRN 2 pods export version for F-16A MLU at the same time

J-8 Peacepearl would be better addition.

Uh… Smin… btw. Whilst yes, Britian does use the “early” Mk101 engines for the Tornado Gr1, rather than the Mk103 engines that Germany and Italy used (i dont actually know the story behind this) but Britain used the Mk101 engines from the very start of the Tornado Gr1 all the way until the Tornado Gr4 which were upgraded to the Mk103 engines that the other nations used. But specifically for the Tornado Gr1, the engines were never changed (as far as I am aware), including when the Gr1 was upgraded after the Gulf-war with some of the kit we have in game, like TIALD. Though we are still missing elements of that upgrade such as BOL.
So in this instance, as far as I am aware, it was not an intentional choice by the developers but was rather historically accurate. If it was an intentional choice though, by the devs to give Britain and Britain alone the worse engines. Then I’d like an explanation as to why Gaijin dislikes Britain so much.
But if the variant of the Alpha Jet being added, had engine upgrades, then those upgrades should be included.
