It 's British, a submarine tube-launched influence mine. Similar to the one used by the Uboat in the event last year, except this one was added to WT years prior.

I’d argue the variants he mentions are as unique as many of the vehicles you mentioned, though your complaint here is completely valid.
Especially because everything is seemingly a competition for the Fr*nch…

Variants are always valid as more often than not as even the minor changes could completely change how the vehicle is played.

Well yes, I added variants as well. The difference between the WZ-551A and the WZ-551B1 are the same as the differences between his variants. (OF WHICH HALF THE PLATFORMS ARE IN THE GAME ALREADY!)
But I don’t think he understands how different and how ground-breaking Chinese IFVs like the VN17, VN20, VN22 and Type 19 are. They’re all as powerful and advanced as the French EBRC Jaguar - which is ALL France has domestically.
China has 5 EBRC Jaguar equivalents (in terms of relative performance and technology), and they’re all vastly different from one another. I don’t think he understands what that means. It really is an insult that he’s posting variants of the AMX-10P or the VBCI in response to me posting tons of Chinese IFVs - of which NONE are in the game yet.

I wouldn’t say such drastic changes are a necessity either, the M4 and M4A2 are fun and different too (though I guess they do have different engines which is pretty major).

Considering the ZBD-04A addition I don’t think it’ll take long for more of the unique Chinese light vehicles to make their way to the game, so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Nice, either T or S class subs then. If it is T class, some for netherland could come aswell.
Weird designation really, M Mark I is a ship-based moored contact mine, while M Mark II is a submarine ground mine. The Mark I is in game on the Abdiel.

Finally. China starts getting its IFVs.
I personally enjoy playing IFVs and light vehicles a lot more than MBTs, and one of the main reasons why I started playing China and earnestly researching their vehicles is because they are definitely the king on that front. I even made this vehicle compilation. (Which is still missing maybe ~20 vehicles).

Indeed. War Thunder with its desire to be “realistic” minor changes can affect things they wouldn’t have been done in real life if it didn’t do anything.

I must say though, as much as the Chinese high tier has incredible potential I would also like to see quite a bit more in the low and mid tiers.
Things such as 59-12 and Chi-Ha 105 would be awesome to see, or something like the Sherman 012403 and the turreted SU-76M.
