The Gripen is still very much a turn fight god. A buddy and I just tested it and the FM is still great, it’s just not as unstable as it was which is fine. Honestly I think its the most fun to fly in general but we will see if it gets tuned down more on live.

I love how everyone thing that Su-27 will be meta, which i think only meta thing on that is that it carry 10 missiles with almost half of them being radar. Then there is Gripen and M4K which is dog fighting nightmares to face
M8 Russia and the US got there third counters parts, Germany had two Mig 29’s and Tornado’s which one was given out for free and what do we get ?

Your dogfighting won’t do much if they can blast you out of the sky before getting into WVR.

I definitely think the Su-27 has it’s meta area which is being the Russian missile bus. But the point there is that while it may not be wise to bring it into a turn fight, you have to win that BVR standoff with the Gripen and 16s. Just most people don’t understand BVR standoff and how it plays into modern air combat (Which is fine.) But I agree, the Gripen and M4K are outstanding additions this patch and I am most excited for them.

if you dont like the current british top tier you always have the option of playing another trees top tier or a lower BR that you do enjoy.
Simple as that.
Yeah, im happy for them also…shame that they got outshined by F-15 and Su-27…like always US and USSR TT need to be the main attraction.
That’s the thing if we play other trees gaijin will just keep adding more tech to the popular ones like idk hmm maybe like what they are literally doing now.

I wonder… if AAM-3 is fine for the game then where’s Python 4? Like rn AAM-3 feels like a better maneuvering Python 3 with Stinger flare resistance. I actually managed to score a 180* kills with it (barely because it lost all of its energy but still). Shit’s crazy

Again, if you enjoy the current vehicles on offer then use them. Dont force yourself to play vehicles you dont enjoy
Chap, you might need to think British if you are playing British vehicles in the game.
Only after you endured such hardships, of solid shots, of slow speeds and LFPs, of hispanos, of ADENs, of treaty cruisers…you will become a better player.

Keep in mind the seeker for the AAM-3 is SEVERELY nerfed in WT rn
Speaking as an American, I do wish people would step out of the comfort zone of US and USSR and experience what awesome vehicles are in other nations. I fell in love with Sweden and French equipment but am going through the other trees now.
