I think it can be explained that: akin to the F-100F(Chinese event), or the Super Etendard, it will have a reduced arsenal in lieu of Italy’s 10.3 lineup which it adds a very potent plane to it, and a fully loaded (A-1M or A-11B) would then be a premium or event for sometimes later. Although not likely as a premium in the short time since the F-104S TAF has proven to be a very effective grinder(Someone got the F-16A ADF in two weeks while it took me two months).
Additionally, it might not be complete. It is still missing rocket pods and AGMs.

Very much so, after everything else got DM33 as a minimum I just sorta expected everything to match
But like it’s been three pairs of US and Soviet things since we had our last fighter.
Even though they said the SAAF C is coming but like there literally nothing indicating it.

The AMX will be a great alternative to flying the F-104s.
An another note, I have yet to even try an F-104. Their playstyle just doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe I should. 🤔
