I know, but boiling it down to a tail hook is just wrong. Most if not all modern combat jets have tail hooks for emergency landings, doesnt mean they are naval aircraft

There are Australian aircraft in the UK tech tree already, like the Beaufort and Beaufighter. So there is some precedent to having Australian aircraft in the tech tree, even if its not considered a sub-tree.
Yes, Canada also has the ADATS which is a top tier too tho

Depends on how long they want to stretch it.
With the CF-18 they could add 4 aircraft out of it,
With the Aussie one 3 I think from what I could find.
Or they could do the Canadian Legacy Hornets and then the Aussie Super Hornets as a way to add both nations Hornets.

The Tornados, Jaguars, Lightnings, F-1, T-2, F-104s, F-111 and loads more have them too, even modeled ingame. They even extend the hooks if you approach a carrier.
