Major Update “Air Superiority” - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 4)

Under the F.3 is my guess as it’s the main fighter the first line the way I think of it now is the fighter support line

Alright good to know, I have grinded the F.3 tree as far as I can with my current premium that i bought and now I’ll just do the typhoon tree incase

i think under the FGR2 as the Gripen C isn’t a pure fighter and can take laser guided bombs

So uh, when we all thinking the f18 gonna be added?

Considering the Hornet was originally a naval strike and fighter jet it would sit after the FG.1 or the Harrier GR.7

I will just mention this:
Relikt addon is always associated to be BVM strictly first thing, forgetting these:

Object 187, one of its versions. It has ERA placement quite similar to found on T-90M or BVM but I think it has Konkakt-5 variant or something like Relikt. Konkakt-5 was a thing before Obj. on T-80U but Relikt this early is doubtful.

T-80BM from like 2009 (development started earlier but it stopped in 2009, it basically is by itself a better T-80BVM)

T-72B2 (practically T-72B3 but better, also better protected cus its Relikt, this is from 2006)
Theres also two or maybe more Ukrainian MBTs i Can remember to have same style placement in same time era as T-80BM and T-72B2 but this post is already large.

Fg1 one as yeah the CF18 was never used for naval it still had all the stuff for it it will be long gap without it

Sad that T-90M has a huge weak trunnion like a challenger 2… I mean with the slow reload, terrible reverse, I don’t even think it’s as good as the BVM obr 2013 we already have.

It’s probably easier to kill since the turret is about half weakspots and now you can just hit the massive blowout panel in the back of the turret and nuke the crew since you’ve penned the blowout box.

I honestly expected it would at least have a decent reverse or some redeeming factor, otherwise just massively overhyped and completely blown out of proportion.

Keep in mind, RCAF pilots are not trained to land on carrriers but the CF18 has a tail hook

The tail hook isn’t what makes a plane carrier capable. It’s stuff like the reinforced landing gear and the catapult attachments

Blame the end of the cold war would be better.
No need for a defense budget when there is no treat of an ICBM landing or your doorstep tomorrow.

That and NATO( and NORAD) standard. Sometimes it’s cheaper and easier to buy a vehicle that up to those standards then building yourself.

On a more bright not did you now NORAD tracks Santa?

it keeps all that

Yeah true the tail hook is what I mainly think of when we are talking about naval aircraft, forgot to put all the other stuff into consideration

With what I hear of it I’m going to assume the March update is likely.
