Also what. Russia gets a top tier tank and a jet. Same as China gets a top tier tank and a jet. Same as UK gets a top tier tank and a jet. Same as USA gets a top tier tank and a jet.
Like…USSR is getting powerful kit but its not like everyone else is suddenly doomed lol
I see much of the complaints tend to stem from people who find it too hard to have to use their brain to learn the weaknesses of a new vehicle and how to train aiming. The T-90M is going to be strong for sure, and learning to adapt to the existence of spall liners with be interesting. If the weak points I’ve learned to love shooting remain on the T-90M like they have for its older siblings, then I have no need to make any changes. If what I shoot at no longer works, then I guess I’ll just have to adapt.
I think the main concern is the spall liners. We’ve already seen soviet tanks get “special” code for reducing ammo detonations. I think many are worried that the T-90s Spall liners are gunna be massively more effective than their western counter-parts. Making the T-90 a pain to kill
Yeah, definitely will be a new nut to learn how to crack. When in doubt shoot the breech out, then tracks. If the T-90M won’t be frontally one shot easily, then everything else that can be damaged becomes the new priority target.
But uh, one question. What’s the T-90M’s reverse speed?
No idea, though if you are in say… a CR2, then you arent going to be flanking much. Even the new British IFV the CR3 (JK) isn’t gunna be flanking that well and mostly sitting on the defensive like the CR2s are. Just gunna be interesting to see how much spall liners actually help.
If I’m flanking in anything, it’ll be the Centauro 120 MGS or the Freccia. Fast enough to avoid the turret rotation speed and enough damage to at least disable and annoy.
