9X is better but thei4 is different blocks of 9X
In what way? We have IRCCM missiles now and we have AAM able to pull 40Gs. What’s wrong with one more missile that can do those things? Humor me.
The Python 3 pulls 40Gs.
So will the AAM-3s for Japan. With IRCCM too.
Technically it should/could pull more
Cause its 9X. Thrust vectoring. Idk what dev said, but realisticaly 9X not just better than R-73, but it basically new gen. But this actually a problem of all AA missles (and actually planes), cause every new thing is a direct answer to previous one.
We have the 9M its good enough for now
Ah full AESA radar, very few would have it. Just those two basically. Perhaps some AMRAAM’s too? Might as well go full bore if you want to be the top dog.
Ah yes. Can’t let anything embarrass the F-15. Not for at least a year until the F-15’s successor is released. Gotta keep the Soviets behind a patch at all times.
Yes. I agree. That way you can bonk MiG-25’s forced to fly high speed and elevation (since they can’t really turn). It will be fun to plink them flying in straight lines with your high tech AMRAAMs, and then on top of that you’ll have a plane that can still out turn the MiG-29SMT and 9.13 with their measly 2 medium hardpoints, unless of course you’re generous enough to give the SMT R-77’s. But that would be too fair, right? No worries, you’ll have another missile bus with a bona-fide flight model, let the Soviets suffer!

Seriously OP, Su-27 can’t get Fox-3’s not at the Su-27S (1982) level. F-15A MSIP (1985) gets flares it wouldn’t otherwise have. F-15C vs Su-27S would be a whole generation behind. Just so you aren’t shocked when the F-15C comes out, it will likely be flanked ;) by the Su-30S or Su-27SM. The ride isn’t even over…
But thats Japan only no other nation is gonna have it
If we’re being real the Soviets can go one or two patches without the US too.
Ah yes, can’t let Soviet/Russian vehicles be made worse than US. Hello Pantsir. Hello T-80BVM that swallows side shots without issue. Hello T-72, T-80, and T-90 frontal ERA that completely negates long dart ammo. Hello, Mig-29 with HMD assisted R-73 90° off-the-rail slaps. Hello Yak-141 that never officially received a radar, rwr, or weapons loadout but was just given hey, wtf, it would’ve had them if built.
Did you meet the F-16A with the G limiter? Or the twice nerfed 9Ls? Or the XM-1 that had its best round taken away over a false bug report?
Like the another person asked; are we playing the same game? It doesn’t sound like it.
F-15C doesn’t instantly mean AESA radar right? The Japanese F-15J is already on the dev server and that is also a 15C.
Well lets not act like America is neglected here.
Oh, you slowly realising why USSR receveing more modern planes, when we are going closer to our timeline, arent you? (If not, let me drop a hint. Collapse of USSR)
Shouldnt I dont think they recieved them until fairly “recent”
You can’t skip 2 main cash cows
Nope
Afaik some were fitted with AESA, but it’s not common to every plane belonging to the C variant
No body is. How do you keep coming to this conclusion? I’m not understanding this. Literally no one is saying make minor nations worse. The point y’all keep refusing to comprehend through I can only imagine is willful ignorance is this:
The nation that makes it, shouldn’t get the worse version. Make it balanced. And I believe that applies anywhere in the game. The Sweds shouldn’t have gotten a better Leopard before the Germans and Italy shouldn’t have gotten the KF41 without German seeing it either. It’s their vehicle. I would be equally miffed if China got their Su-27 before Russia…why? Because they made it!
Bro did you forget how many unique rank 7 and 8’s airframes the US has?
Better meta CAS loadouts than any other country bar none. Boohoo.
He specifically said the R-73 had better IRCCM than anything in the West until IRIS-T/9X. He also said they were not going to fully implement R-73 IRCCM as close as possible because it would be too strong. If you ever used the R-73 you’d know it’s okay, not even good. The “good version” was the one they ran into the last Dev server with, that was basically the physics corrected version Su-25BM’s R-73 that was the only plane that had it before the SMT/G. That was good. Hard, but not impossible to dodge, and didn’t have the wobble affect the way it does now. The great R-73 was from the first dev server when it actually could do what it does in DCS/real life. That would be too good, so they had to keep it competitive.
If a 9X comes, expect a R-73R or M as they will need to keep the old 73 the same, or they’ll mess up the BR’s when they finally give us our proper IRCCM back.
Finally US mains will have to take a back seat for two months. Don’t worry, the incessant whining will nerf something.
Su-30S first prototype flight was 1986, and production line started in 1988. Su-27SM was 2002. You might want to open up a history book, but for about 10 years, the Soviets turned into the Russians, and they had to streamline production to keep their economy alive. This is a mostly dead period of time where legacy twilight-Soviet designs mostly died off, and new designs burst forth.
Keep the AESA off of it, and the F-15C can stay in the in the mid 80’s. Through AESA on it and grandpa Su-30S has you by 21 years, uncle Su-35 (og Su-27M, 1993) has a full 14 on you, and cousin Su-27SM has you by 5.
KF41 isnt used by Germany hence why they didnt get it, and ah yes so lets just either force Sweden to be stuck with a 2A4 at top tier or skip 6 Leo variants for Germany sure that makes sense.
With the F15, the US already has the F16C so why even complain?
And for Israel they wouldnt have even had a true BVR platform until now with the F15.
