Why’s that going to be a problem when the HC is quite a handheld vehicle? Notice how 2A4 123 or KVT haven’t been particularly deleterious at 10.3 like the TURMS has?
Probably because being fast, having good gun handling and very forgiving module layouts makes for cracked vehicles which even inexperienced players can excel in.
It’s not like many players at such BR even bother to spawn in AA anyway so it’s not like there’s a huge difference between a one-death-leaver who does it because they have no other vehicle or who does it becasue the “russian bias” boogeyman has them convinced they can’t win.

Ground is poor, the Leclerc is getting power crept and there’s no other vehicles. AZUR is a downgrade. I don’t have the ITO, but there’s nothing to complain about with it for air defense.
Helicopters is fine with the Block 2 but it’s still not up to full capability, there’s no HMD and SYROCOT. Before the Block 2 the French Tiger wasn’t worth the time.
Fixed wing CAS is good with the PGMs, probably the only reason to put yourself through French air, but lack of top tier lights means bringing air vehicles is a lot harder then other tech trees.
The 2000-5F otherwise is fine for air-to-air, it survives with the meta vehicles.
Otherwise entry into French top tier air is extremely difficult and still might not be worth it. Most aircraft are overtiered and the premiums are mid at best. So much so that they keep removing them from sale.
