The SEP is only slightly better than the PSO imo, the SEP has better thermals while the PSO has auto cannon proof sideskirts.
Unless Gaijin goes against the documents I saw which mentioned the 500-550mm KE protection and adds it with better protection or with M829A3, it won’t have any advantages over the 2A7V. It will litterally be slightly worse or a lot worse in every regard.
Now one thing I do agree with you, there is a way to make it somewhat asymmetrically balanced. You limit the 2A7V to DM53 (DM63 would give it too much of a survivability advantage over the SEPv2 imo) and give the SEPv2 M829A3.
And add the Challenger 2 LEP with DM73.
This way the Challenger 2 LEP becomes the hull down sniper, somewhat glass cannon ish tank, the 2A7V becomes the heavy armored tank with worse firepower and the SEPv2 becomes the in between, the jack of all trades that most of the Abramses are.
I agree! Balance doesn’t always need to be 1:1 equivalency; instead, some tanks/nations can have pros as long as others have their own pros by comparison as well.
Also… if they really add LEP with DM73 and they finally fix the numerous Challenger armor issues because of the Premium one now… that may make me actually even more interested in the Challenger 2 than the other tanks lmao
Good way to balance it but i doubt they give the German their shinny new tank with its new gun and not give them its round but let the brits have it but i could be wrong
Because the UK players cry that the Challenger is weak. Japan says that Type 89 is nerfed and Type 10 is slow. Now U.S.A that Leopard2a7v’s M1a2sep2 are not opponents. Italians have already flooded the Po River with their tears. Is there a nation that doesn’t cry?
