If the 2A7V is announced you are better off not playing the US or britain for the next 2-4 weeks after release.
A worse “counterpart” in nearly every way combined with a floodwave of low level 11.3 premium players. I’m curious what winrates we are going to see. 30%? 40%? Could we get as low as 25%?

I would say I’m being sarcastic or even exaggerating, but read Reddit or this forum for long enough and you realise it’s not even far off the mark.

Depends on if they give the 2A7V it’s full capabilities. It is something to be worried about, but we don’t know if they are adding it and how they will if they decided to.
The 2A7V being better in nearly every regard than the SEPv2 worries me somewhat.
Having 70% of my US teams filled with sub level 20 HC players worries me far far more.
There are also vehicles at a low level that can be presented. Either the ship or the helicopter…
Even if there aren’t many OES players, britain gets matched with the US a lot, so the US will just drag britain down with them lol.

In terms of lineups, if both 2A7V and SEPv2 come, this is what my lineups would look like:
M1A2 SEPv2 < Leopard 2A7V, yes, but…
M1A2 SEPv2 > each and every single other German tank besides 2A7V
M1A2 SEP > Leopard 2A6
M1A1 AIM > Leopard 2 PSO
M1A2 > Leopard 2 PL
M1A1 HC > Leopard 2A4
One of the main advantages America has over Germany: thermals.
Germany will have 3rd gen in 2A7V and 2PL; meanwhile, 2A6, PSO and 2A5 are stuck with garbage 1st gen thermals.
In U.S’ case on the other hand, you got SEPv2, SEP and AIM with 2nd gen thermals.
I believe you both hold SEPv2 and the other Abrams in a very low esteem, while you overestimate 2A7V and its effects on the German lineup.
Now, the Premium HC thing… that’s a different matter and I agree with you on that xD

Yeah but probably the HC will make civil war (US vs US) in the ground matchmaker. It’s already a top seller in the store below GE which people are buying in preparation for the Christmas sales, also second only to the F-4S for some strange reason.
Anyone got any idea why US premiums sell like hot cakes? Answers on a postcard…
