What do you mean 2A6EX “doesn’t get improved armor”? It’s literally the main selling point of that variant.

2A6EX is the prototype , it gets the add on armor yes ,(same chassis as PSO) but it doesnt have the internal armor upgrade like the sell models 2E and HEL have
Nevermind, i always confuse their armor and thermal capabilities The 2A6EX uses the same chassis as the PSO, so 1630hp. It has better armour than the Strv 122 but still only gen 1 gunner thermals. The 2E and 2A6HEL are mostly the same tanks and based on the 2A6EX. They use gen 2 thermals for both the commander and gunner and retain the same high level of protection. However, they have just 1500hp because they dropped the Europowerpack.
The TVM max has 1500hp, since it didn’t use the Europowerpack.

Watch Gaijin give Germany Leopard 2A6 EX (pretty mush same as Strv122 but with L55 gun) and people will still call it OP…

What i meant is that now people thinks that BVM, Strv122 and LeoA6 are Meta. So Russia, Germany, and Sweeden are the Meta nations…
People are afraid that if gaijin gives Germany the Leopard 2A7V, it becomes the new ONLY meta and Germany becomes the only meta nation. (Personal opinion: I dont think that Germany is meta rn)
But if gaijin gives the 2A6EX, it would be almost equal to Strv122. But im sure, as looks like everyone hates germany, people would still call it the only new Meta. (The same way they say PSO is better or OP)

Who the hell puts the 2A6 together with the Strv 122s and BVM?
The problem is that there are currently 2 meta MBT nations, sweden and russia. People rightfully complain that the 2A6 isn’t a counterpart for the 122.
The problem is that we are adding the 2A7V without counterparts as well this update, if we assume the leak list is true. So there will only be 3 meta nations instead of 2.
From the leak list Usa Russia and Britain are gonna get their equivalent to the leo2A7v well Britain one is just a guess but its the only tank that makes sense
Well Sweden has a 2A6 copy and two Strvs that are better than PSO and A5.
Only the 4th backup is debatable with 2PL vs CV90120

The counterparts are already ingame; they’ve been ingame since 2020…
And other nations may not be getting exact 1:1 counterparts, but they are still getting significant enough upgrades that their net situation will be significantly better than it is now, by further closing the gap.
3 meta nations instead of 2; and the other nations, instead of being 100 steps behind, will be only 10 steps behind.
