Yeah that is the only real way, but I just doubt they will do that.
OFLE F2 is a complete mystery regarding performance, SHARD can be modelled as DM63/73.
It had DM33 well into the timeframe where other nations had M829A1,A2 and DM53 equivalents.
It has a weakness xD it lacks the roof armor it can be bombed :P

I’m not saying that. I’m saying I’m going to face as many of them as they are on my team, so I hope it’s truly balanced. All my other teammates are going to go through it too.
As to which one is better, I think it’s going to be pretty balanced. Multiple ER’s will be very deadly 1 v 1. Su-27 should be better in the dogfight too.
F-15 I’m assuming will be more fuel efficient, have a better radar, rotary cannon… I think the edge goes to the Flanker, but that depends on how they roll it out. F-16 g limiter lasted for a while, and MiG-29 FM wasn’t nerfed yet, so we could always see something wonky.
Only gets better with T-14, or a new 2A46 cannon in the near future that patches in a year later. So yeah, USSR is boned.

2A7V is not going to be the same BR as Strv 122, BVM, M1A2, etc.
Neither is T-90M, SEP 2, etc. all add more armor over the 11.7s.

Japan can get SHARD for their Type 10 cause its gun is compatible with them.
Britain can get DM73 on Challenger 3.
Soviets can get T-14 with its new ammo.

idk if it’s my memory but I believe it had only DM23 when it came out, then got 33 later on and only after that round was completely useless it got the domestic one

If Britain get the 2019 CR2 LEP it would use the same round as the Leopard 2A7V so we would be sorted
Problem is that the 2A7V shouldn’t even be the same BR as the T-90M and SEPv2.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but there is no difference between playing a SEPv1 and likely SEPv2 when facing a fully spaded MBT. 400mm vs KE or 520-550mm vs KE will likely get lolpenned regardless by the likes of Type 10, DM53, M322, M338, 3BM60 etc.

Cant they fire Nato standard ammunition? Or is there some pressure issue even on their newest guns?
Challenger 3 uses the L55A1, so that is them covered for APFSDS
As for Soviets idk outside of maybe vehicles people wouldn’t be happy about being added, and China there is Taiwanese M1 tanks that should open up new darts.

SEP2 gets the internal composite armor upgrades that were only added previously to mid-life upgrade to M1A2 SEP1s starting in 2002 [War Thunder’s SEP1 is a pre-2002 SEP].
How much armor that is IDK, but it’s more.
And T-90M’s armor upgrades are substantial.

Still find it funny, when i visited the ru forum the a lot people compared the T-14 as leo 2a7V equivalent. They didnt treat it as a new gen tank at all
Iirc someone posted a bunch of documents (not classified ones) in part one of this thread which estimated it around 500-550mm vs KE.

Couldn’t that also mean that they were considering the Leo 2A7V as next gen?
T-14 predates Kf-51 and Abrams X (pointless) anyways…
