The hull of the Strv 122s with the extra composite already can’t be penned by most things, with the bit that isn’t covered, the bottom part of the lower plate, being able to be penned by almost everything, which shouldn’t change even with D-tech armour or whatever it is. I haven’t read into it too much, so I may be wrong, but based on what I have, that’s how it seems.

Yeah the lowerplate would still be pennable. However it’s “counterparts” would still either have a serious mobility and firepower disadvantage (T-90M) or a lolpen hull (SEPv2) compsred to the 2A7V.
Like I said, calling the latter 2 counterparts to the 2A7V is a meme.
The big three will, of course (unless you don’t count DM63 as better and/or Germany doesn’t get it), however it’s either uncertain or impossible for the others.
The variants that use the 300lb HE-F warhead can only be loaded on the LAU-117/A, not the LAU-88/A so can only be carried one to a station, though most airframes can take 2 per wing (in place of other ordnance) so can carry four in total, there is no quantitative advantage to be had in most cases.
Also there are large diameter HE rocket warheads e.g. Mk. 24 / -63 for the 5" Zuni / HVAR , AGR-20 etc. that are missing that could fill the role of the S-13, -24, -25

If the UK gets the LEP it would have what ever they give the Leo2A7V
The 2A7V would definitely be the best, I’m not denying that, just that it won’t be the unstoppable beast of destruction that many are making it out to be.
That’s why I said uncertain, since we all know how Gaijin likes to treat them.

We never said it would be, just an upgrade over the strv122b+ and doesnt compare to it, it is better in all aspects
It doesn’t need to be that to be unhealthy for the game.
I wouldn’t be against it’s good armor if it had other weaknesses to compensate it, also known as asymmetrical balance, but as of now it has all strengths and no weaknesses compared to it’s “counterparts”.
