VCC-80/60: 9.3 - 9.7.
Begleitpanzer: 9.7.
ZBD04A: 9.7 - 10.0.
M3A3: 10.0.
Desert Warrior: 10.0.
BMP-2M: 10.0.
2S38: 10.3.
Strf 9040C: 10.0 - 10.3.
Strf 9040 BILL: 10.0 - 10.3.
Freccia: 10.7.
Namer 30: 10.7.
KF-41: 10.7 - 11.0.
HSTVL 11.3/11.7.
Decompression. Gives M3A3 breathing room since it’ll be in 10.0 lineups regardless, and upticks everything arguably superior to it.
MBTs and light tanks could and likely should uptick as well.
There you go. I can respect that, then. However, I still don’t think it should fold automatically.

In game BMP-2M is equal to M3A3???
This is true, but its not that we should keep it at 10.0 just because it will be in the 10.0 lineup.
I would like you to quote these then.
you didn’t even say things needed to be moved up. you said there “could be compression around 10.0.” you then name things that are, in your opinion, powerful for their battle rating. Don’t forget, you stated “M3A3 is balanced where it is”
Oh no I agree, the automatic folding is kinda annoying and doesn’t seem to have much purpose even balance wise when it already can’t fire on the move.

i mean sure but I, personally, think the BMP-2M probably needs moved up, especially if 2S38 and literally anything else at 10.0 is getting moved up. I definitely could be wrong on this, but from what i’ve seen, I thought it was probably the best 10.0 IFV
I’ve yet to see evidence of BMP-2M either in the cross analysis or practical testing that it can do more than M3A3.
It’s of course subject to change, I just haven’t found the angle yet if it exists.
I thought that by giving the few examples I had at the time would explicitly indicate that.
Also BMP-2M is largely inferior to the 10.3 suggestions I posted such as 2S38 and Strf 9040 BILL.
Obviously BMP-2M is inferior to Freccia. Whether it’s on-par with Vilkas that’s up for debate, I know Vilkas is larger than Freccia.
I actually have a USMC ex-M1A1 crewman friend. Pretty cool dude, He says his loaders, and himself regularly did that. Also, we could probably ask @Conte_Baracca

Faster, more missiles loaded at once, missiles are more competent vs the enemy they face, launcher can be fired on the move, cannon is genuinely better, what more do you need?
The BMP-2M is better than the M3A3 in this game, in every way.

When the alternative is to either inhibit movement when the launcher is up or for it to be damaged if you do?
Why’d you have to give it away like that?!?!
I think its quite a bit faster (not sure) the gun is much faster firing (with a comparable APFSDS round) and the missiles are better, as they can be fired on the move with better penetration than the TOW-2A, but I guess it doesn’t have a top-down missile.
Brother, can you find me an example of a bradley’s launcher breaking just because the crew drove with it open? Or are you gonna be like the russia fanboys when I ask them to show me videos of the R-73 doing the things they claim it can do?

Enlighten me, how are you so sure?
Honestly it wouldn’t be the first time that War Thunder ignores equipment damage in vehicles, (E.G going full afterburner for an entire ARB match), and also I don’t see why the fold in speed couldn’t be at the very least increased, so you can move faster than a crawl with the launcher out.
Also I posted it because there’s no reason to gatekeep information in a discussion, especially if it’s crucial to the topic.

This is another thing. If i’m wrong and it can be damaged by going too fast unfolded, then the speed could at least be increased. I’m sure a bradley could move 10 mph with its launcher unfolded.
I read something from a bradley crewman and he said the vibrations in a bradley can definitely damage the TOW launcher. (if its out)
