M26 pershing at 6.7

Much better is a stretch. Better in some ways, worse in others but not 1.0 BR better. Maybe if T33 performed correctly.

As for armor the turret is a lot stronger while the hull is a bit weaker. Everything else the Pershing does better. 6mm less flat pen but better angle pen, 5 times the explosive filler, a reverse gear, a .50 cal, better acceleration, more gun depression.

They’re only 0.7 apart and if the M26 was 6.3 the gap would be even smaller.

6.7 would be fine with HEAT. It’s just a worse Panther rn anyways.

Better Panther you mean. Except worse mobility.

armor, firepower, mobility are all worse.

The M26 does not accelerate better.

The firepower of the M26 is not worse than the Panther’s.

Pershings turret bounce more stuff than Panthers where any shot into it kills half of the crew and breeches it. The hull is debatably also better.

Pershings bounce, but Panther’s just absorb shells into the black hole. Also the Panther has far more hull which means less turret, and angled side plates that have stopped some really dumb stuff.

Panther hit into half of UFP just oneshots it.

You need over 230mm pen though. Even a T32 can’t do it.

T32 can’t penetrate the Panther UFP? whut.

Even Jumbo with 75 oneshots Panther there, tell me another story. Panthers are my most played tanks with over 2k games in em.

Where do they shoot? They can’t frontpen the hull, turret, or cupola unless they get an extremely lucky ricochet off the barrel.

Literally middle of the UFP on the upper half.

Ok there is an imense amount of takes from both sides.

A Jumbo cannot penetrate the upper glacis of a Panther, not even the Jumbo 76 version.

Unless you explicitly hit the MG port on the least angled places.

It definitely can.

You do know we’re talking about the Panther D/A/G/Fs right?

Yes,and you do know my most played Panther where i got ace by playing them is Ersatz M10 and Ausf.A right.

Tell just where exactly can the Jumbo 75 penetrate the Panther UFP? You need an advantage of 24 degrees in order to have a 50% chance to penetrate at point blank.

You dont have the camera angle ticked.
