M247 "Sergeant York" - a solution for interrim SPAA for America?

No counterarguments as usual, you’re a stupid tanker lol)) casual gameplay lover, because of such losers even our bombs turned into firecrackers)

What?

It’s even worse when someone uses CAS, but their winning rates are not even higher than those who only use tanks.

It doesn’t work like that. If M247 never used subcaliber round it wont get it regardless to anyone wishes.

not amazing against air targets? what? got a lot of kills (and deaths) with both the gepard 1a2 and the 8.3 one, and have used both at even toptier. The guns are infact really effective, idk what you mean.

Theyre definetly good but theyre not great, amyone paying attentio n is going to dodge everything its really easy to jink

But despite the m247 having no tracer it has extremely slow shell velocity, which makes it harder at longer distances. But i’m guessing the proxy makes all the difference, haven’t gotten that shell on mine yet

The good thing is it can start firing as early as 6km, at that range most jets in that br will still be flying straight and unaware of them being shot at, the bullets take 6-8 seconds to reach them though, you’b be surprised at how often you drop them at that range lol

1100m/s aint slow mate

It is slower compared to about 1440 m/s on the gepard

isn’t that the m/v of it’s APDS?

Saying the proxy makes it night and day is underselling it, inside the range of the proxy you are a nofly zone

The Gepards HE rounds are 1175m/s, almost the same muzzle velocity as the M247’s HE-VT rounds.

your missing the fact that gaijin modeled the 247s rounds as having a drag chute

i know gaijin devs cant model for shet but atleast its usable unlike the rapier

get it its really good, also lack of tracers makes it harder for aircraft to know they are being shot at

bro what?

thats what if feels like

its a 40mm full caliber round of course, it feels slow its a big round

Well no, it’s clearly another one of Gaijin’s dastardly plans to nerf the US.
