M1a2s at top tier

Wait till he hears that 90% of MBTs in this game have their armour modelled after guessworks had been first carried out… (gasp). I think the only ones that don’t are… uh, early M1 (105mm), 2A4s turret & a few T-series tanks (most of which have overperforming KE stats anyways).

Wait until you realise that gaijin isn’t going to just add random armour to the abrams because you said it should have it.

So it’s fine to make guessworks on each and every single tank’s armor values… as long as it is not an Abrams; in that case, it is required to have official GDLS documents providing specific values of the 2024 classified tank signed by all U.S presidents in history.

That’s what they’ve been doing to most of the MBTs in this game since forever. T-90Ms armour? Random numbers. Leopard 2A7Vs armour? Random numbers (well, mostly, it has random turret armour and hull armour of a 1990 prototype :p). AMX-40? You guessed it, random numbers!

Yes, they won’t change armour just cus “I said so” (so I’m not sure why you’re gas-lighting yourself that we think they will do that), but the developers themselves have been applying random armour modifiers to vehicles in this game for the longest time, majority of the time without having anything to back them up as well (look no further than the Puma for which there’s ~30 armour reports that all pose contradicting evidence to how the devs modelled the armour…).

Again you’re just being disingenuous since the abrams also uses in your terms “well-educated guesses” based on the limited information available. If you have any other credible evidence that meets the required standards you can submit a bug report and if it is reasonable will be implemented.

I wish I was privy to gaijins armour value random number generator.

Guess what they conveniently never show or just straight up hide? The speedometer of the car they are driving.

This is the video I meant. This isn’t proof of anything lol. Standard of what is considered proof really seems to have dropped hard.

  • Armor is massively relevant. Everyone would rather play a T-80BVM/T-90M rather than an Ariete.
  • 1.5 seconds isn’t a massive difference (and that’s when you have to ACE the crew)
  • Ardennes is only hilly at the spawns, everywhere else is relatively flat; Sinai’s hills are configured so that gun depression can be nullified by being on the downwards slope (or Russian players could just ignore B and not have to use gun depression ever); the vast majority of Fields of Normandy is either urban or flat; Eastern Europe is more or less as flat as the others
  • It’s not a lie, I literally checked it
  • I’d like to see some statistics on that
  • Not being penned > surviving being penned

I responded to a source that Necron posted, lol. Plus pretty much all of his sources have already been debunked.

It is very clearly moving faster than 11 kph

Your highest br vehicle in Grb is 9.0 you’ve still never even seen a leopard 2A4 in a real game

You see if you actually had a high tier vehicle you’d know its a 5.3s reload on an expert crew

5.3 =/= 5.0

5.3s is still massively better than anything else i should know its saved me before not that’d you know youve never played a high tier vehicle

I’ve already responded to this video before.

  1. The first tank you hit wasn’t looking at you
  2. The second tank wasn’t looking at you
  3. The second shot on the first guy wasn’t necessary/was too risky, you could’ve just reversed
  4. We can’t tell from the video when the last guy previously shot, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyways cause there was a guy behind you.

So in all, none of these shots relied on the Abrams’ reload speed.

If i was in a t-72 that second tank would’ve driven past with no issue and i wouldn’t of been able to kill him

Because im in an abrams i can get away with that i have a better reload than literally anybody

Relying on teammates to be anything other than shell sponges is a stupid idea

If that video proof anything, i guess we can ask 3sec reload for abrams then

You wouldn’t have died.

It was unnecessary, and also didn’t help you survive as the first guy wouldn’t have been able to hit you due to the last guy driving in front of his barrel.

You still wouldn’t have died if the Abrams had a worse reload due to that teammate.

Mind priving us in on how you arrived at this conclusion? What your measuring method was and all?

If you calculate the speed of the reverse by the distance traveled due to the hull of the tank, there really turns out to be ~20 km / h. But the video can be accelerated, so any such videos are immediately thrown in the trash bin, unless there is a clearly visible speedometer or something like that.

The car is a 2013 Hyundai ix35 using these tyres

If you do some basic math using wheel base and the length of the vehicle passing set points in the video you end up with a speed ranging between 16-20kph
Itd be a lot more accurate if i could base it off revolutions instead but the video quality is too low
Regardless its still faster than 11kph
