M1A2C Hull armor missing

It’s nice to see you on these topics! I knew they would draw your interest, hehe.

And indeed; I hope it’s just a Dev Server WIP thing. SEPv3’s INTERNAL armor is what was upgraded… it’s not some RHA plate slapped on top of it.

I fear Gaijin may at best just upgrade the armor going by thickness increasement, without counting the new, denser composition. So if they change the RHA thing, and properly model the cheeks, they may as well just end up giving it 200mm more of “NERA” with a 0.2 KE multiplier and call it a day…

(I can’t give likes, cooldown for 2 hours :') )

That is not a SEPv3. That is a SEPv2 with the initial Trophy A-kit. Before the improved turret motor mod, it required adding a 150mm thick block of RHA to the front turret. This was only done on a small number of tanks as it added unnecessary weight.

Oh yea when I saw my baby getting massacred, it made me get back into it.

However they can’t even get the name right so I’m doubtful for anymore positive changes.

Literally, most government docs about SEPv3 state that it can have Trophy aps. Even the General Dynamics website says SEPv3 uses Trophy. The reason why you don’t see photos of it on sepv3 is because the Army decided to test mounting Trophy with SEPv2, but both are compatible to use it.

they also for some reason took the experimental name for the HE-TF bullet: XM1147 (why i wonder?) instead of in service M1147

Do you happen to know what the name the document this excerpt came from was?

M1A2 BH&T -2

Or where this slide is from?

The real heavy calvalry is the new t90m and its predecessors being buffed

Kinda weird how stuff like kh38mt can use a brochure,
Aim 120d isnt allowed to have its real aileron AOA limit because its from a video/image, but when theres a website by GD stating the capabitilities of the V3 suddenly pictures are required and websites dont count

I wonder what documents they used to make these improvements? I couldn’t find a single bug report about increasing the EPA Relic’s armor.

I dont wanna go too off topic with it i just thought it was funny, if youre concerned with it id go to the t90ms forum probably

I hope you have taken a look at my topic and voted!

As far as i understood (from gszabi datamine, take it with a grain of salt) it seems the calculation of the Heavy ERA didn’t take in consideration the inner plate itself, which sort of makes sense considering the mounting and array of relikt itself

also Spanish, after all this i gotta tell you, we made some heavy mess in that post didn’t we? XDD

If that were the case shouldn’t the protective qualities be halved so the overall protection rating of the set up remains the same?

no it shouldn’t matter at all for the overall Era tile the extra protection seems fair game, what we can question is the effectiveness decided by the developers, but this change seems to be based on foundations instead of thin air

The modifiers doesnt have that much of an effect on the hull era(need to test the sides), as they have a protection cap.

And for the ce protection, i always though that it was 600 already

Slide comes from Damian originally, though the tweet is broken now:

Pretty sure its on the open source version of DTIC, I’d have to dig some more

Guys, could it be that at some point russian and chinese intel agencies basically approached them and told them to do this sort of thing to bait weak american men into betraying their country by leaking classified docs?

Its cheap, its effective, and their PR dep enforces the image they don’t want players dping but they keep doing things to reinforce this sort of behavior like denying well document and information reports.

They want the docs, even though they say they don’t.
