They’ll just keep buffing the M1A1 so that it remains the Pro’s tank of choice.
Before too long we’ll have a M1A1 with M829A3 and 4s reload rate ))))))

Youre literally on every thread on the abrams being against everything.
It’s my #1 most played tank as well as an area of interest IRL. Of course you’ll see me on threads that deal with the M1’s.
Not really, I’m against bad takes regardless of what flavour they come in.
I’ve got numerous bug reports on the M1 series of vehicles, so clearly there’s stuff I want to see fixed on them.
It’s been over a year and half now and I can see the developers continue to refuse to make this package optional.
It appears it is on their interest to keep it heavy and slow for no added benefit whatsoever.
“Tusk Force”, without doing anything about the vehicle with tusk in its name lol
It looks hideous
Good news, they are actually working on it further! Hopefully, it doesn’t lose the remote turret. In its updated form it has :/
Where did they say? I know on the DEV right now both the SEPv2 and SEP have what looks to be AN/VVR-4 Laser Warning System and the Rapid Obscuring System. They look to be incomplete on the model as there is collisions with the old launchers and small boxes. But It does not have all 4 sensors on the model unless the TUSK/TUSK II are installed on the tank.
Oh nvm, someone messaged me that it’s being changed in the updated dev server :/
At work, so unable to check anything. Well, hopefully it does change.
Maybe they are adding sepv3? I have never heard of sepv2 mounting LWS not to mention sepv1

I doubt it at least this update, but who really knows. As far as the LWS, I know the Army is trying to do a bunch with the VBK or Vehicle Protection System Base Kit, where they are trying to integrate LWS, new smoke launchers, APS and other new survivability features on the Abrams and Bradley. Just this year they were testing this at Yuma proving ground on the Bradley. It has been shown and tested on an Abrams before and I believe the Army is trying to upgrade all of their current tanks with these systems to improve survivability as the company Arka in May of this year received the 2nd delivery order on the $136 million, 5-year deal they have with the Army.
I could see Sepv3 coming in the next major in December, especially since they just up the BR to 12.7 for top tier and also the fact that Sepv3 is 2 years overdue. Plus if they plan on adding m1a2T, which is essentially an m1a1aim with a crows, adding Sepv3 probably will lower the amount of backlash they are getting adding the m1a2T to china.
Here is it being tested on both Bradley and Abrams. Since those are DOTS tanks at the armor school at Ft. Benning, it’s a SEPv2. Haven’t seen it since out in the force however.
Yea which is why I am very surprised to see it being possibly modelled in game seeing as how other things they are unwilling to add or change on the Abrams or the F-15E and F-16C do not have LJDAM which has been in the game for awhile now on other planes and better munitions are being added for others.
tho it looks cool. Why bother
Because cool looks doesn’t suddenly make the SEPv2 not the worst top tier Abrams.
With the option you’ll still have the choice to run the SEPv2 as a far worse SEPv1 (TUSK 2 equiped) or a slightly worse SEPv1 (TUSK 2 not equiped).
why is it tho? isnt it pretty much a M1A2 SEP except this addon armor?
