it makes your tank cool while also protecting sides from HE and HEAT shots tho.
I survived countless rockets with this armor on. And basically survived stock grinding of USSR 11.7 lineup basically eating M1s without side protection

I have around 480 games in my SEPv2 and I can almost count the amount of times the armor saved me on 2 hands.
Not to mention that the shields on top of the turret can be hit with HE, which will overpressure and kill the tank.
Took them 2 years to add the option to remove the armor, so this is a good start even tho it could be better.

It is a pretty useless package, but the good thing about an option is that we can remove it while if you want to make your SEPv2 worse you can keep the ERA on.
They do not ignore, ori do not create fragments and do not create excess pressure. This dynamic armor can withstand a direct hit from a LMUR. But suggest the Soviet team remove the ERA and spall liner.
Knowing they had years since the bug report was accepted, and this is the implementation, feels very lazy.
