Oh okay sorry i thought i heard matawg say that it was a sep v3, but ofc even creators can’t always have the right information. Either way i still don’t think it belongs in the Chinese tree as they were very against the vt4
It is based on an export SEP v3, however it lacks DU armor so the armor profile will be similar to the AIM, maybe slightly better.

These M1A2s have the bulkier CROWS system. It’s taller and less compact.
This M1A2 SEPv3 has a much more compact and smaller overall design. As such, it’s much lower.
You can see how much lower it is easily on this prototype SEPv3.
As for exact differences, I will ask some people who operate on the system. I do not know it off the top of my head.

Btw can’t it carry like airburst munitions ? Imagine if it could. U could lase a heli or smth and then fire of rounds with air burst. (Is that how it works?? Correct me if im wrong)
Not cooling system, but blank firing adapter. Used to allow blanks to cycle during training.

It is not based on SEPv3 but is instead a really kind of weird variant that is essentially comparable to a SEPv2 in raw performance but uses a lot more analog systems comparable to what is found on upgraded M1A1 SA as opposed to the usually all digital M1A2 series. This is to reduce cost while maintaining SEP capability when it comes to quality of sights.

As for functionally in War Thunder, it would be a SEPv2 without ARAT. Just lame US tree is losing its uniqueness.

Ah gotcha. I don’t think China should get it for the same reason Great britain didn’t get the M1A1 AIM. It’s bad enough having vehicles copy pasted but not every tree should get everyone’s vehicles. If this happens then Russian players will want the captured M1A1 SAs and US players will want captured soviet equipment.
Yeah why not add it to the us tech tree? Would gladly take another abrams
they replaced the loaders m240 with a minigun on a modern Abrams. either SEPv2 or v3

Cool system i guess but can it be fitted along with the trophy system and tusk ii?
(I know it’s heavy as af but i am the along the few who likes Abram’s with tusk ii more than one without it, I don’t care that its heavier and like 0.6% slower……… cause it looks cool
Yes it can. It requires no welding or cutting to add this add-on and it mounts inside the bustle rack rails in the same footprint as the sponson box. As shown below, Trophy (and ARAT II) mount on top of those same bustle rails and Trophy’s associated power boxes are located on the turret roof. This would not interfere at all.

Nice! But gajin will probably not add it cause why would they, anyway cool to know. Do you know the reason why they chose to have iron fist on the Bradley and trophy on Abram’s? Isn’t the iron fist better? Is it cause the Bradley fitted with iron fist is newer?? Please correct me if im wrong as my only knowledge of how good aps are is from wt and i know the trophy isn’t working ingame right now
Edit: i guess the ERA bricks on the side of the turret are removed cause the trophy is there??
Anyhow it doesn’t matter cause they make no difference in game anyway
