This is pretty blatantly ignorant, seeing as every Abrams since the legacy M1 had DU implemented into its armor. This isn’t an argument about its realistic protection, you just use “b-but DU!1!!11” as an empty reason to have more armor.
The HA packages of HAP-2 and HAP-3 are based off of testing against M1A1s with EAP-2 +10% effective armor to account for domestic packages.

Because there’s nothing of substance for me to add? Swedish S-122s are effectively an enigma, and info on the composites used is so hard to gain that not even the visual model is confirmed to be correct.

is the sep v4 a legit thing cause like the one picture that we have of it (i could find) looks photo shopped.

He said the successor to the M1A2 SEPv4, and I’d assume that means the M1E3. Any newsletter I find that mentions Safran optics links them to the booker and M1E3.

If you remove all the add-on armor that is indicated in the right top, you remove a total of 0.67+4.5+2.4=7.57 tons, which reduces the total weight from 73.7 tons to 66.13 tons, which is 60 TONNES, the metric the game uses.
