The IMP1 already had a 5.0 second reload speed at 11.0 and no one was complaining?

Why is 5.0 second reload speed on the 120mm a specific problem?

Its a problem because out of all 120mm users, they only buffed ALL american 120s (not just the top tier ones) and did nothing for France Britain and Italy which have way worse vehicles that the abrams. It’s blatant handholding to bad players

“because France Britain and Italy’s MBTs are underperforming we can not buff USA MBTs which are underperforming” is not a logical argument

France’s reload should be buffed yes.

Britain’s first stage reload should be massively buffed it’s ahistorical as it is.

Italy is Italian

Israel’s reload is also ahistorically high despite using the same exact gun design as the Abrams, its reload should be buffed to at minimum the old Abrams reload rate.

Yeah you just hate faction I get it. That’s irrelevant to the faction’s vehicles and their balance though.

Considering the T-80’s realistic reload is roughly 5-5.5 seconds, just make other tanks have a realistic reload to balance it.

Thinking realistically, it wouldn’t be bad if they added that the magazine would get tired, and that after several shots in a row the reloading would be slower, that when stopping shooting it would recover in about 10 or 15 seconds, and that the magazine would improve The reload ability will also affect the shots you can charge until you tire.

You have to switch between charges when selecting ammo type in the autoloader.

That would be quite an interesting mechanic to see if autoloaders already didn’t hold advantage over manual reloading ingame.

If something like that were modeled they’d need to model the autoloader’s parts so it could be damaged.

Yeah, so obviously you don’t understand organization, if you run a full carousel, and have your rounds in order, From KE, CE, CE and what others you might have, you won’t have that issue, unless changing round type. Idk what your talking about “you have to change the charge”

You have to change the round charge IRL which increases the reload.

This isn’t modeled ingame.

The reload in real life still isn’t 5 / 5.5 seconds either way. I have no idea where you get that number unless it’s them test stressing the autoloader. Autoloaders can usually operate much faster than their operational speeds which are set so the machine doesn’t break itself.

Yeah, I know you have to change the ammo type when reloading, but if your round is the same as the last fired, it should be the next round in que to load, and wouldn’t add any time, the 5 second reload is from beginning to move to position, to going back into the carousel.

That isnt much of a problem thanks for carousel speed.

Just as manual loaders taking time to take the correct shell, or loading ammo rack with specific shells like in Gunner, Heat, PC.

It can be better than current numbers simply because current numbers are average reload rates with changing your gun elevation during reload which no tank does so soviet autoloaders already should have lower reload rate, goes to any autoloader really.
So you can already take a part from the elevation time, and you can take the minimal reload time instead of average.

Why would you do this

To balance it with the “skill issue Americans” who need a 5 second reload to be combat capable.

If not to consider lap loading manual loaders already use about minimal time often, instead of actual average.

The 5 second reload doesn’t make the Abrams “combat capable” it just helps stave off sub 40% win rates with the addition of the click bait.

There’s more to a tank than reload rate. The Abram’s reload was good before.

Can’t help the 40% win rate when it’s the players, not the vehicles. lol.

Americans don’t lap load in Abrams but their nothing stopping them

The Abrams is worse than the Leo 2s and the BVM / T90M due to Gaijin’s modeling.

The player doesn’t help, but the vehicle doesn’t help either.
