He looks like a normal Hummi but he hides something dangerous :) and also that won’t be anything new there are tanks like that already so just go hush yourself.
i would love to see this, might even research the USA ground trees higher ranks if they get more silly niche vehicles
wrong section needs to be put into suggestions
Tell me you’ve never driven a car without telling me you’ve never driven a car
Yeah I can re adjust a 05’ suburban with 1.5ft between me a truck and a wall and get out with a 4 point turn.
Cars are easier to use then a tank
unless you need to turn on a dime
Thats the only time it’s worse.
they have no N turning
Tbf It fire ATGM (so gunner can correct missiles path) and meant to be use from long range. But yeah Gaijin tend to put small map in this game…
make a suggestion for it in the suggestion channel
Man this would be so cool to have in game as tech tree vehicle
The LOSAT gunner had a FLIR (Forward-Looking Infrared)/TV sensor to find and designate targets, and LOSAT 's fire control system (FCS) could acquire, track and engage two targets simultaneously. LOSAT was designed as a very quick reaction system, and a whole acquisition/lock-on/fire sequence could be completed within a few seconds.
Pretty much every MBT is missing its fire control system, but yeah seeing as they automatically lock onto centre mass it may go against the pixel peeking, barrel shooting meta of the game.
remove the “stop to shoot”
move NVD to III
fix the primary weapon selection
then you can forget about it again
it was more rational to remove this vehicle than abandon it completely so it wouldn’t hurt remembering that there was some sorry implementation. None would complain about wasted money (if there were) even if it was some good ambush (let be honest, it’s just a domestic-level drama). Or, just make a day for anyone. The sad “fixing the twitching guidance” trauma has already healed itself by now - the mentioned list above is the light work.
Go work, gaijin
gaijin dont remove vehicles because they arent performing how you think they should, something like the LOSAT also doesnt really need to be that good, its funny
youd also need a source for that
ill assume you havent unlocked rank 4 mods yet?
make a bug report

“youd also need a source for that”
“The range was beyond that of existing main tank guns, allowing the LOSAT to fire and move before tanks could maneuver into a position to return fire.”: MGM-166 LOSAT - Wikipedia
That’s the historical point: fast engagement and relocation. I have not seen any real-world source or official Gaijin statement that supports a 3-5 km/h firing cap, so that restriction is a gameplay rule, not a historical limitation. This is indirectly confirmed by players discussing ATGM mechanics: Why can't vehicles fire ATGMs while driving?
“ill assume you havent unlocked rank 4 mods yet?”
The rank IV nvd issue: plenty of similar vehicles get equivalent optics at rank III, so LOSAT’s being pushed to IV feels inconsistent and grindy.
I haven’t played this vehicle in over two years, and it still feels constrained.

The twitching aim issue remains unsolved, and the missile guidance is very difficult by design. Removing the limitation would compensate just enough.
thats wikipedia and the forums, neither of those are valid sources, and that wikipedia excerpt doesnt even support your argument, it says the vehicle could fire at long ranges and then move after.
there is very little consistency in the rank of modifications, you might as well pray for such a change

Oh, really, what is its validity, then? Signing up for a secret program to find out? No common sense in this community whatsoever. Screw this.
you need one primary source, or multiple secondary sources same as always (wikipedia is a tertiary source on a good day, and the forums is nothing)
this is very common, and incredibly reasonable, gaijin cant just trust whatever anyones says, and if they cant find information its better they come up with something rather than just trust some random on the internet
nobody is asking you to share classified document, in fact rather the opposite, nobody at gaijin wants you to give them classified documents as it carries immense risk for them and you
