Object 292.
- no machine guns.
- 10 second reload more than twice the reload of the abrams.
- no thermals.
- worse optics.
- worse mobility overall.
- worse turret traverse.
- worse gun laying speeds.
Because M900 is an absolutely ridiculous round to say should be at 10.7.

Challanger 1 is a potent 10.7 with a fantastic round, nice armour, OKAY mobility, and good reload and turret armour, with fantastic optics.

Also I noticed a new bug with M1A2T, if they shoot your blowout panels while you still have sabot in chamber you suddenly loose your ready round and crew tries to load heatfs. Absolute cinema.
292 is a tank destroyer for the purposes of War Thunder.
M1 Abrams has far more going for it than a dart that fires every 10 seconds.
Thermals, mobility, reload, machine guns, turret & gun traverse.

Mobility is a huge impact on survivability of a tank.
The M1’s are two of the best 10.7’s in the game, there’s a lot more to tank capabilities than just pen and armour
every abrams has this issue.

What kind of bs problem is this and why do I have to carry different APFSDS for this Case.

Thats been that way for a wee while now has it happen in my M1A2 a few times too.
Some visual bug aswell, Abrams sometimes survived getting hit by the kh-38/LMURs and then the tank looks completely dead with both the blowout panels visible from the top. And then one time someone hit me from a steep angle which also trigger the cookoff, one of the panel is opened and visually there is no ammo in there, but somehow in the ui says I have 20+ apfsds and 10 HEATMP left and the ammo loading progress stuck in an infinite loop and unable to load any of those into the gun so I end up driving to the point to get killed.
Had both of those happen to me too by the way when I last took the abrams out and about
games in a right state to be honest man, I had a dart the other day hit my track in the ZTZ96B and then somehow ricochete nearly 60 degrees into my tank and crew compartment, when it was a near square shot so it should of just took the track off and went clean through the front and back of the track. Not bounce nad change direction like it did .
Or this crap, I shot his breach, and gunner and commander out before his gun was even on me, yet he killed me
Oh man i would never. Ive played almost exclusively my 10.7/11.0 russia lineup in the last days to grind air with the su25BM (horrible decision but i dont like air rb atm)
So far i managed to bounce one shot on a m1 ufp (my aim: sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit), several rounds only took out one guy in the turret from the side, giving away my position with ten seconds to take aim while still being able to shoot and one bounced on a rooikat ufp. Horrible vertical targeting speed goes hard. also i wanted to not shoot underneath all of them getting just driver and engine. NGL i just sat still and accepted my fate its not like this guy will miss a second shot into my lfp from 200 m with 10 seconds to aim even if im wiggling like a babyturtle heading for the water. In 1 on 1s theres way better tanks than the obj 292.
Also, doing that in the m1 would probably be even easier or well at least id have to ask first if youre going to use ess and thermals with the m1 to be invisible to the obj that cant even find u by spamming its nonexistent mg while you can shoot accurately with its thermals. Doing that all you could do in the obj would be…nothing…theres absolutely nothing you can do but wait till the ess runs out. at every moment (unless the ess is on reload) the 292 wants to take the initiative you just pop the ess and youre almost immediately invisible for him.
The 120S is no joke I don’t know why people downplaying it. The FCS and firepower/reload is ridiculous at 10.3, you don’t get that kind of FCS on Abrams until 12.7 if you don’t have the AIM, it’s dangerous to everything up to top tier, even head-on brawl the T-80s/Leopard 2A7 has 50% chance of getting send back to the hangar. Only issue is slow but once you get into position it’s better than the 11.7 Abrams because it has 13x gunner sight zoom and gen 2 thermals, even driving around you will be able to see so much better than most of the 12.0 Abrams (except for AIM). These days I only play it on 11.3 to pair with IPM1 because it actually kill the BMPTs quicker than the IPM1.
Yeah i absolutely believe that. I didnt play mine yet, but 5 second reload on M829A1 with 600 mm pen flat and a 5 kg dart sound insanely good for 10.3. Also 40° horizontal and 24° vertical is insane with 10° gun depression as well. Does it have the nato hump considering its tower/turret ring are so high above the m60 chassis? Does it get ESS, thermals and LRF? wt wiki doesnt mention those…
How do you mean? M1a1 is almost the same like M1AIM except for AIM having better thermals? u talking gun targeting? or optics? Firecontrol System is the combination of both id guess?
EDIT: oh i found it in wt wiki where it mentions thermal imaging and resolution, me slow today.
because it’s a patton hull and all the CCS ragged on it when it released* forgetting it’s still an M1A1? or is it the M1A2 with gen 2s etc, turret with the same FCS, reload, rounds and of course armour.
