Fun fact the clickbait and the m1a1 HC are actually the same tank model (excluding the dozer blade) nice to see that you picked up on that in this a lot of people don’t know that

Technically speaking, the M1A1 AIM has a commander sight modeled ingame on the .50 Cal, however it’s non functioning at the moment. Hopefully they’ll fix it eventually.

yeah just with a chair ontop and some decals

i think it might have been functional in the dev server when it was first added back then.

Also thanks for reminding me to put the AIM into the thermals section i forgot it

Are the links region restricted perhaps?

It requires access permission, which it says you can receive via e-mail, but the e-mail is never received.

Already found some useful stuff from the sources that I’ll use to bug report the following issue: Community Bug Reporting System

Man, kinda want the Ukr mod M1 slathered in K1, it sounds like a riot. Hull roof extension getting more armor against CE is interesting.

I would separate the flir from the Sep to the SepV2. Although it’s not currently applicable in game, the SepV2 featured the upgraded Block 1B flir . Raytheon and the Army don’t provide too much insight into the specifics of the upgrade beyond basics.

“ Block 1 second generation FLIRs will improve Block 0 performance and put
more capability in the hands of war fighters. The new system generates a
clearer image with more scene contrast, less jitter and higher resolution.”

going to do that thanks

Well this seems to back up the idea that DU hulls were planned to be added to M1A2 SEPs (including retrofits of M1A1s) starting in 2006.
