The plane doesn’t have strong RWR, radar and FOX-3 missiles. This leads to situation when you feel blind in the battles even vs a single enemy. I can’t remember any other plane with BR of 13.0 without FOX-3 missiles. Other 13.0 planes like F-15A and JAS39A can sometimes have battles where they se no FOX-3 enemies, while Su-27 always has to fight the strongest ones.
13.0 for Su-27 in sim mode.
Take away 27ER/ET - will be ok to go 13.0

JAS39 and F-15A always fights fox-3, at least here always chance of that. AV-8B and J-8F exist
I could agree about ET, but ER… Actually I hardly think R-27ET is the reason to make the plane 13.3.
It just better(or same in few parameters) in everything than MiG-29G from 13.0 for example
And few other planes
27ER is superior for any other FOX-1, at least that can pull 20G+ and you have 6 of them
I don’t suggest to leave the plane as is. I can imagine many variants on how to adjust the plane for 13.0. But now it’s not a top tier plane.
13.0 without ER&ET will be fine
27R is on level with 7M, but you have 6 of them, for example F-15A have 4
9M is superior against most players(which cant predict btw), but 73 better in dogfights.
So, it willbe better than F-15 in case of weapons, but with interior RWR

While the plane is good, a massive part of sim is situational awareness and having that rwr that doesn’t tell you shit really makes sim more difficult. When a f15 sees that there’s a mig29 on his rwr he knows it’s an enemy, but in an su27 you just know there’s a plane of some variety and a vague direction of where it’s coming from. The j11a is the worst 13.7 in air rb but in sim it’s just garbage simply because the rwr doesn’t tell you shit and the radar can’t find planes to identify them. Doesn’t get any tv guided munitions or a targeting pod to zoom in on things either. The su27/j11 is the same thing in the same bracket but without the r77’s that make it sorta almost competitive.
I completely agree. The Su-27 should be put in lower brackets.

They’ve gone back and forth on that so I don’t know how much I trust it to stick around, but good point none the less. Still good to know what’s around.
I don’t know how good it’s the Su27, but I say yes, just to try to put some balance in 13.0, where bluefor has always twice the numbers, and always moaning !!!
I had a decision for this problem but the devs decided to ignore me.
Meanwhile we use the Gripen in red team for balancing a little, nice match the other day ;)
