Yea, most of the time we are complaining about bugs or mechanics and not being listened to. But regardless you cant argue that Warthunder hasnt been labored on for nearly a decade and a half, and doesnt still to this day capture your attention. Its a good game overall, and based on hours to dollars input, an incredible “value.” Hence my nomination, (and also i need more noobs to pad my stats with, yall are getting good at the game again lmao)

No Man’s Sky and War Thunder are the only games I think of.
If it wasn’t for NMS’s update this year, War Thunder would be my nomination.

NMS is a huge one too! I got it when i came out, and wow have they really delivered on their promises. But i dont play it as often as I do WT. Id be happy if either won

Nah, can’t look past the buggy updates that constantly break something every update that take weeks to fix at times requiring multiple patches.

As much as I do love the game, I certainly wouldn’t nominate it for “Labor of Love” anymore, unfortunately. Not for the past 3-5 years.

The day I stop playing war thunder is the day I run out of things to do. But gaijin know a few things about keeping their player base in a grind with the constant fear of missing out.

I have hundreds of games on Steam and GoG. I have the resources to go and buy any game out there (and the machine to play them). But I choose War Thunder over all of them. I love this game.

Just because we like the game doesn’t mean we can’t recognize that there are more deserving games.
That’s what happens when there’s a monopoly.
Doesn’t mean the game deserves the award, which, by far, it hasn’t for years now.

The guy I replied to obviously dislikes the game. Not even talking about awards. You can go vote for whatever trash you want (what is popular these days? slop like Battlefield 6?). This game is great, btw, and it’s the game that I spend most my gaming time in. It’s getting my vote.
I absolutely love making fun of the game. And I will continue to do so. And even I, a lowly, worthless, disgusting, internet dwelling bottom feeder troll - even I can tell the difference between shit and silver. So why not take my word for it? Even a rooster knows when the sun is rising, maybe open your eyes for once.
