Could GJ pls do something with the problem that planes begin acting crazy at low alts??!!!
It looks like an obvious and frapant bug or rtaher cheat or what.

Have you checked so that you don’t have this setting on?

checked. Have them off, same like U on this pic here.

Do you have a video or replay of when it happens?

Kind of hard to understand the exact issue through just descriptions and it doesn’t sound like something i have personally experienced.

I have this happening in Air AB pretty regularly as well myself. It seems to be a “proximity” thing.
It mainly only happens to me when I destroy an enemy plane and I am too close to the “explosion”,
or something. At any rate the game literally grabs your plane and body slams you into the ground, sometimes a mountain or other terrain that is close and destroys your plane.

I am almost positive this is a proximity thing, the game having a different idea of your location than what you are seeing on your monitor. The reason I say this is when you look at the replay(your player’s replay or the Server replay, doesn’t seem to matter), it appears as if you purposely flew your plane into the ground or mountain.

It doesn’t show anything that would show your total lose of control and getting your plane crushed by the game. So it makes it impossible to make a bug report as it shows nothing and I assume would make it impossible to “recreate”.

This is what it feels like . . . . .
hulk-smash

Your plane is Loki, Hulk is the game . . . ☻

That sounds a lot like Client-Server desync, that one i’ve had as well :)
(Just graciously flying at low altitude then suddenly [bang] i’ve hit the ground for seemingly no reason)

But just losing the ability to control the plane / the plane acting erratically close to the ground i’ve never personally experienced in the way described by OP.

If this is the case, it happens way too often, and for a long time.
For me it seems more the game don’t know exactly where you are till you near something concrete, and then adjust your position.
Happens to me most of the time at two scenarios:

  • At the bottom of a loop near ground. The path of the loop schould be several meter above ground, but near it the plane drops immediatly several meters and crash, though the ground should force ground effect.
  • By attacking ground targets at an specific angle/speed. Out of experience the plane schould pitch up with mouse, but even with keyboard input you are not able to pitch up and it crashes.

In both scenarios I never noticed any desync in the whole battle.

Might be unrelated but I’ve had a few mishaps while ground pounding, if you fly too low near howitzer’s and the mounds surrounding them the hitboxes will sometimes kill you. Really you should avoid flying low as much as possible in this game.

That’s just PL issues.

De-sync has been horrific since “firebirds” update when they did the graphics update/ changed to battle eye etc. although it seems to effect higher ping players. Ground has been unplayable for me as an Australian since that update. Any and all bug reports on it are being ignored as well.

Yeah, I regularly stay lower than 10m and don’t have this problem. As long as you have instructor off at low altitudes, you shouldn’t get any interference. Unless it’s a problem on your end
